The UAE Tour Challenge final 3/3 will take place in Jabel Hafeet. Competing in a flat race, participants will be able to test their legs over 60 KM, 30 KM and 15 KM. Opens for all amateur and king of mountains.
ستقام المباراة النهائية لتحدي جولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة 3/3 في جبل حفيت. عند التنافس في سباق مسطح ، سيتمكن المشاركون من اختبار أرجلهم لمسافة تزيد عن 60 كم و 30 كم و 15 كم. يفتح لجميع الهواة وملك الجبال.

• Race Day Schedule:

  Age Groups are calculated as per your age on race day.

  Your race number and timing chip collection
  are close to the start line as per the Race
  Day Schedule. Race Pack Collection will be at the Race Village
  • Race numbers will be sent to you via SMS the night before the race, please know your bib number before you arrive at the race pack collection desk
  • You must have checked in and received your timing chip 30 minutes before your race start.
  THERE IS NO BAG DROP FACILITY

• Finisher Medal:

  At the completion of the event participants can collect a finishers' medal in exchange of your timing chip from the table and avail of the self-service water and then please make your way away from the event start/finish area. Athletes should abide by the directives of the race director, event staff, volunteers, and the Jabel Hafeet Security.

• Race Bibs and Timing Chip:

  Timing chip is attached to a Velcro strap and to be worn on your LEFT ankle and please RETURN after the race.
  IF YOU RAE WITH NO CHIP - YOU WILL RECEIVE NO TIME AND N RESULT!
  
  Race bib must be worn along the midline of your back or slightly to the right on your back so officials can easily identify you.
  
  Sticker must stick on your helmet.
  
  safety pins are in the envelope or use a race belt.

  يجب ارتداء مريلة السباق على طول خط منتصف ظهرك أو إلى اليمين قليلاً على ظهرك حتى يتمكن المسؤولون من التعرف عليك بسهولة.

• Race Rules:

  • Bike direction will follow the normal traffic direction
  • All participants shall wear a protective helmet, undamaged and unaltered, which meets or exceeds the safety standards of the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
  • The helmet must be fastened before the participant first mounts the bicycle; at all times when the participant is on the bicycle and must not be unfastened until the participant has dismounted.
  • Triathlon time trial bikes are NOT ALLOWED or BIKES WITH AERO BARS.
  • No tandems, recumbent and fairings or any add-on devices designed exclusively to reduce resistance are allowed.
  • Solid disc wheels are allowed.
  • Any new, ‘unusual’ or prototype equipment will be subject to a determination of legality by the Chief Race Referee.
  • Athletes must be individually responsible for the repair and maintenance of their own bike. Assistance by anyone other than technical support officials will be grounds for disqualification.

• Start Procedures

  Each distance will start together as a mass start –All races will have a neutralized start and the racing will start when the green flag is waved by the lead vehicle.
  There will be no in race communications between riders using headsets. No support cars allowed during the race. No blocking the track deliberately by teams (DSQ of whole team).
  Emergency Contact: The emergency contact number on race day will be (0545475146)
  Once you cross over the start mats, this tells the timer that you have started that race – on the GUN time.

• End of Race Procedures

  QR Codes will be placed around the race village for participants to see their live results – live results are considered unofficial.
  Once official results have been checked for any anomalies all participants will be sent an SMS to their official results
  Photos will of participants will be uploaded through out the duration of the race for participants to have these available when they have finished their race.
