Based on the Kind approval by His Royal Highness and under supervision of Ministry of Sport and Saudi Arabian Athletic Federation and upon acknowledgment of Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS), Green Line Co. shall organize the events of Al Khobar International Half Marathon in its second edition on November 18, 2023 G, and the city of Khobar was chosen for that, due to its significant geographical location and also for uniqueness in its huge infrastructure that qualifies it to conduct such important international events.
This international event is considered one of the most important events in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and many international and local champions participate in it, in order to break the world record in the international half marathon races, to compete with international races, and to enter the international classification among the best four half marathons in the world.
- There will be three race categories:
• 21 km race, professional race.
• 5 km race, amateur race.
• 1600m race, fun race for children from one to 11 years old.
