“Well organized - This event is really well organized, great course and obstacles. My only negative response is that the last 2-3K of the 10K course was together with the 5K course and the timing meant that we got caught behind some of the slower 5K participants ”

“Challenging fun fantastic - Overall a fantastic event from start to finish and I’ll be back for more definitely! It’s great that the course keeps changing. The facilities are very very good. What I’m annoyed about is people entering elite category and skip obstacles deliberately . The rules say that times will be disqualified but that doesn’t happen. You race against yourself, but it is nice to see where you place in the ranking. I’ve seen this in war15 and now 17 with my own eyes and that is a bit disheartening.”

This is not only my opinion, all people i met after race were complaining about food too. 2- No much photographers to cover the entire raceobstacles so i didn't get even a single pic. “First time, but will definitely do it every year - It was my first time partaking in any marathon type event. W.A.R was so well organised, and so much fun, that I’ll definitely make it a yearly event to attend. The obstacles were extremely well placed and very diverse. The marshals were extremely friendly and motivating. I really fell in love with the event. At first, I thought it was a bit pricey- but after I went through it, the price is really justified. I would really recommend everyone to take part!”

“WA 17 was not to the expectation - This is the 3rd time for me to participate. WA 17 was the worst. Water through out the course was hot. Shirts were not giving to us with a justification that it was not available, eventhough we registered long time ago. ”

“Good improvements to previous versions - I have participated in this event over 5 times in the last 4 years.The volunteers and marshaling are quite good. The medal and T-shirt quality are way better than before. My only request to the organizers are to reduce the event registration fee as it is quite expensive especially for a local event that is promoting fitness in the region. The participation has reduced drastically as compared to 2015/2016. I know for a fact that its the price as many of my friends didn't sign up due to the same ”
