“Incredible race, stunning scenery - This is my second UU event of the season after the Big Stinker in Ras Al Khaimah in January. I can't believe I have only just got into trail running after a decade in Dubai. Great bunch of runners, organisers and volunteers. Very well organised and beats road running for variety. The race was tough, even the shortest distance. My hydration and pre-race nutrition was below par which played a part. All in a great result, stunning course and look forward to the next trail running season.”

“Did not expect that but loved it! - When the Race Director said that she would be surprised if any of us "ran" the whole way I just chuckled nervously as obviously didn't know what the trail involved. But yea - those hills and boulders really got me. Twice!! I am always so impressed by all these runners and I am so glad I took part as felt like such an accomplishment afterwards. “Great event! My first , but NOT last! - This was my 1st urban ultra event and i loved it . Chose the “short” 12k as didn’t know what to expect, but I will be back for more. Support staff were fab, course markers were great , course itself fun and challenging , altogether lovely atmosphere. I only wish the results/timing could be available sooner ? Even though I’m not podium regular , I like to see where I sit overall and 2 days later still no results . Other than this , thanks for a wonderful time !!”
