“The bay area for the swim was very nice. The roads were good for the run; however, it's a bit dangerous to have the cycling and running routes crossing each other. The cycling route is fairly windy, but that's just part of the course. ? The weather and overall setting were great. I hope to do this event again, preferably the Olympic or 1/2 Ironman next time!”

“Big issue was drafting. No one checked for that. I group of 4 passed me on the bike. 3 were from Abu Dhabi tri club that funny enough,they were the podium as overall winners in UAE category. They should have been disqualified. The other one was bid number 156 with mexican tri suit.Should have also been disqualified. Is not fair for the people that obey the rules. There were more examples,but these were the most obvious ones”

“Chaotic swim start with both Sprint and Olympic starting together. Bike and run were both a bit long. And you must get some bike check out security. Anybody could walk off with the bikes. Apart from that it is always nice to race on Marjan Island. Thank you for organising yet again!”

“Logan did the sprint and I did the 76 Organisation was great but a few marshals need more training. On Sat cars were coming inside the cones. On Sun I noted close calls with bike mounting out of transition and riders on there second lap. I saw a rider in his blue swim cap too! I also felt sorry for the runners who turned left out of transition stopping for cars and bikes. The longer distances are great and we’ll definitely do again. The aid stations were excellent! Thanks ”

“I came from UK to do this event as I used to live in Dubai and simply loved doing Rak triathlon more than any other in the UAE ”

“It was well organised and the course was good. Could have had a separate strat for sprint and Olymoix as the swim start was a bit difficult. Maybe more water station at the beginning of the run course.”
