“Park Mgt lets this event down each time - The change of start times after cancellation period & then late entrance to Park as Mgt had not arrived saw an 8:20 am start for a 15 km run - way too hot !!!”

“Still needs work - There still seems to be issues with the Park management team. Total race delay of 75 minutes is disappointing. There needs to be better communication between race organiser and the Park management. More disappointing was the fact that the 1.5k run was started almost 50 minutes after the 15k started. 15k runners (including myself) were completely blocked at the 5k lap marker (1.5k start line) and either had to stop and wait or plough through stationary parents and children. Not good enough. ”

“Nice course, shame about the late start - Really liked the course with hills, sand and a bit of grass/tarmac. There was a bit of shade on the way round, but the event needs to start at the original early time if at all possible. 9.15 am was very late for the 3km for my 6 year old as we got there early for my 5km - a lot of waiting around in the heat for him. Also a big queues for the muffin and juice! Well done though, well organized to amend times etc. ”

“provide isotonic drinks - They should be providing isotonic drinks on support stations. water also should be provided in bottles instead of cups. 1 muffin and juice is not enough after running 15K so please arrange extra things for eating.”

“Enjoyed the Event but getting in was a problem - Bit of a delay getting into the park in the morning due to Mushrif Park not opening the gate. I understand these things happen but Mushrif Park should have been prepared. The rest of the event was fabulous. ”

“Great Run but the delayed start was a problem - I figure you already know. The delayed start was annoying but the main issue was the time reschedule - starting later meant it was very hot by the end. Otherwise, a great run, good course, organization, etc.”

“Well organised, great venue - Excellent event in a lovely venue. Credit to the organisers for keeping the busy schedule of distances on track after a delay that wasn't of their making. An earlier start would have been good, as it did get hot out there....but of course timing is dictated by outside authorities. It's good that it is so inclusive, with the wide range of distances and prizes well spread around. Nice work!”
