“Wasn’t great - Event timings overran, and athletes had to wait a long time. Family members and children were not allowed to play in the water to keep them vusy and occupied. It wasn’t a great event.”

“Okay, but not brilliant - It started that the Wild Wadi parking was full but they let us circle through the parking house and could on request not give an alternative. At the race the displayed sequence was not as announced due to which shortly I thought I am late. After the race no towel that was promised, and there were more swimmers after me than before. And then even today 3 days after the race I don’t know my timing. There was no display, and there is no listing online. ”

“Great Events but timing chip problems - The weather delayed the event, which couldn't have been helped. It was great that the line up was changed but they shouldn't have put posters with old line ups on the day as this confused everyone. The biggest problem was the timing chips. For the relays most of these didn't work. They should have pulled the top 3 at the finish line to show that they were the winners.”

“No results of my time - I checked the result and there was no time recorded for me and my friend. How can i improve my swimming time for next race? I send an email but no explanation or reply. ”

“amazing setting - The best setting possible for the event but organization wasn’t the best! All the towels were given out to participants in first races, which was extremely unfair! Everyone paid the same registration fee! Missed opportunity to sell merchandise like T-shirt’s etc as a momento for the event. Should get more sponsors for next year.”

“Great day- poor admin - The admin for my event specifically was very poor. Go Sports did not have my number, so gave me another. At the swim, they did not have a race chip assigned to my race number, so gave me another. Looking at the results, neither my name nor any of the 3 numbers I was given did not appear! And to top it off, the promised towels had run out by the time I’d finished. I’ll do the swim again, but only if admin gremlins are resolved”

“Great Experience! - This was a really good day for me and my family. The organisation was really good and it was clear where to go and what to do. The courses were not extremely hard but also not that easy, you need some experience in swimming to get to the end. The only thing I am not happy about is that everyone goes at the same time, people run over each other and there are not enough space. Maybe it would be better if there were “waves”, so like the first 20 people go and then 5-10 second later the next. ”

“Beautiful race with amazing view - Race is great, beautiful view of Burj Al Arab. The organizers were able to manage things very well because of bad weather condition with proper communication and route changes. Two things to improve: 1). I couldn't find enough water stations after the race. 2). Link to results for the race on organizers web site leads to wrong page. ”
