“First Al Ain Adventure / WAR race - key feedback: 1) At least 2 ring swing obstacles not functional as set-up so low that you couldn't swing without dragging across the ground. Clearly not properly reviewed or tested. 2) Expensive - shouldn't include food voucher in ticket to make the race cheaper, & those who want food can purchase 3) Food shouldn't be to-order. Staff couldn't handle the volume. Very annoying to run 15km then wait on feet for 1hr to eat! Just swap ticket for ready made food”

“This is my first time race with these organisers and I'm suitably impressed with the overall organisation, each of check in, timely starting times, friendly marshals, water stations, variety of obstacles, water features. My wait for the food was not onerous, the variety of foods was impressive considering the crowd which had to be fed and the overall service was exceptional I very much look forward to the next race run. ”

“Very nice race! Would have love to be able to use the pool like the other time. Very well organized. Only problem was the food. 1h waiting for a cold shawarma and uncooked potatoes … better to give only 2-3 options to the runners not 14 and prepare upfront the meal. ”

“There was glass on the course, the marshals were not really trained, the food line was really long and very disorganised, there were no goodie bags like in previous years. Apart from the standard obstacles, I wouldn't bother to come back and I've done the Wadi Adventure Race since 2015”

“I got scratched up after that last obstacle threw me off.. it was my first time so it was definitely due to my lack of experience. So I noticed that the last obstacle tilted towards me and when I reached the top, I knew it was going to tilt the other way, but the degree of the turn was way more than I expected. I saw 3 other people at the paramedics purely from that last obstacle. I saw volunteers helping on that obstacle after that. Help should be given for the fun runners. ”
