“It' was really exiting event for me. I run for 5 k. It was not off day for me I finished my run and went back to office but enjoyed a lot. I started running 6 months ago when I could not run 1 k but now I finished 5 k. It's exiting for me and looking forward to more event. My kids also run for 1 k. Good luck ADNOC.”

“A lot of water stations were on the right hand side of the road / route but the corners were going left. So, many runners, had to weave over the road to get water. ”
“it was overall well-organized including enough staff, water stations and event preparations. However, the number of souvenirs was less than the number of participants, so most participants including myself were not able to receive them. And I think it would be much better if the boards have been installed that indicate how many kilos runners have run so far.”

“It was very irritating and troublesome to have the golf carts with the photo crew beeping and moving runners out of the way, that too on the inner line of the track. Never seen it done in any other race. You should prioritize the runners being able to run safely and without disturbance, and not make media your priority.”

“The experience was excellent overall. Excellent job in management. The only thing that has to be taken into care is that when someone is handed a drinking bottle at the water station, it should not be tossed on the track or the sides of the track. I felt sorry for the people who would be responsible for cleaning things up later. It would have been helpful if we had positioned some rubbish bags or an open wastebasket along the path.”

“I downloaded the sheet with the start times and all the details and arrived 30 minutes before the start time to find out that they had already started. The people there could not even explain to me how this could happen as I showed them the start time but they kept saying I'm not sure how they started already. I could not participate although I had paid and arrived before the start time. This is not fair and start times shouldn't be changed the day before the race or on race day...”

“Good run with excellent support and plentiful water stations—which I needed! Parking was super convenient. Hudayriyat is very open and unshaded in parts, so I would have rather started a little earlier to avoid some sun and heat. (I have run several 21km races and up to 19km in recent training, in mostly shaded areas, and felt prepared going in. But I struggled a lot in the second half when the sun came out bright and even walked-ran the last few km.) Thank you!”

“Loved that the course was as shaded as possible - thank you. Loved the water stations - super job Please provide separate stations for electrolyte drink option if possible. Usually they are about 10m before or after the water and the signs indicate electrolytes first then water station ahead. They do not always come in small bottles, but something like that would be great for running in 30c. Thank you for a great race experience! ”

“It was easy to get onto the island but the entrance to the start wasn’t clearly marked. Lots of people were going the wrong way. There was plenty of parking which was good. The route was excellent. So more substantial food would have been nice after. Great location. 2 things in the race: 1. I would to see is energy stations. Like surgery drinks, energy gel and running salts. 2. I would expect a race on this length to have pacers. It was very disappointing that there wasn’t any. ”

Please can Medals be more distinctive fun design, related to each category distance 21k 10k 5k etc & placing position? medal ceremony was too long -everyone was tired and wanting to leave go home shower eat! And for instance if a specific person finished the 2.5km 1 - 25min they get gold color for the medal, if they finished 26 - 50mins they get silver medal, if 51mins - onwards they get bronze medal. Just a suggestion. ”

“I was disappointed that the times for the 5k to the 1k run starts changed, my husband and I finished our 10k run to then rush our 9 years old to the start and they had already started taking it down. We had to just start running but it was disappointing to see the times changed from when I originally saved the PDF. ”

“I didn't expect there to be only water at the water points. It would really be helpful to have some other nutrition available especially for the 21km e.g. coke or other hydration supplements - if sponsored. Otherwise an enjoyable race. ”

The only further recommendation I would give is to have a box to drop off keys. Maybe not phones as thats a high value item and can be left in the car. But at least keys as its a low value items thats not prone to stealing.”

The support from the volunteers and fellow runners was excellent, creating a positive and motivating atmosphere.”

“I enjoy trail runs and most of my workouts are off-road. When a race switches course to trail during a half marathon, it shocks most runners. Please consider mentioning it in the event details or pointing it out. Most runners would appreciate a visual of the route instead of a map in such cases. ”
“I was so excited when told at Bob pickup that I would be receiving a special award for completing all three races. After the race I was absolutely shocked when I went to the awards table to find out I got a small wire rack for my medals. I am incredibly disappointed as it should’ve been a special medal or small trophy for completing all three races. I would have rather received nothing instead of this cheap wire hanger after waiting around for an hour post race. This put a bad taste in my mouth”
