“Race pack collection inconvenient - You should be able to collect your race pack on the day as the location of Zabeel Ladies club is inconvenient for those without their own transport. Or be able to collect from Zabeel park itself considering that is where the race is held. Good amount of water stations on the track, nice atmosphere and encouraging support. Overall good event. ”

“A pretty good start for a first event. - I loved the appeal of this race to ladies, and to UAE nationals in particularly, so I hope it continues and grows and develops from the good start it made this year. Thanks to all involved in the organisation, I know it is hard work.”

“Private and medals - We want private place without any mens and finishers deserve to get medal for their achievement I paid AED 60 in other marathon and I got medal while here I paid AED 150 and got nothing!!”

“Some administration needed... - This race was great fun the park was beautiful to run around and there was lots of good support in the form of water stations, race assistants and paramedics... But finding Gate 3 of Zabeel Park was a NIGHTMARE! If your not familiar with dubai or the Zabeel park area there were No signs anywhere to help.. a map in the registration pack would have REALLY helped! Also they never made it clear what the route was or how many laps we had to do so I had to keep asking the attendants who weren't sure.”

“Serious Comments - About mentioned run I noticed that was miss of information before the run day ,me and others have called to ask but sometimes no information others was wrong information such as ( male being inside the Park run dress especially for Muslim ladies? run duration and others ) hope next time to be Info Unit who know well about the event and give full information for participants .other issue ,its about the professional runners who shared in such simple run ladies who run for first time , its unfair ”

“Nice race bad organization - The organizers lack of minimum facilities: where to leave our bags while we were running. It took us forever to convince a lady to leave our staff with her as is not comfortable to run with a bag in your back. No organizers to be seen anywhere and the ones we saw without any idea. I will probably will try again next year as this was their first edition. And one more thing: no medals to the participants!!!!! That's a no no for me. This race was more expensive than others, shorter and we received ”

“Lots of room for improvement - Late start, bad PA system, no mention of 2 loops at start, no way to check if a runner did 1/2 loops, inaccurate timing. saw an incidence of cheating. A caddy dropped a lady few metres before the start line. First I thought the lady who got down may be a marshal, but saw her run fast and cross finish line. No medal despite mentioned in registration Emirati lady stopped me from shooting the start line while others were busy instagramming”

“Not good - They have general participants from different countries but the announcer is talking in arabic..its like the race is only for arabic people.we dont even know what she was talking about..no english translation or whatsoever! it was just shocking that there were people called that won but are very questionable...lot of us were raising our eyebrows about the other winners”

“Very nice race- would particpate again - I really enjoyed the course. There were about 150 ladies running which was a perfect number for the course. The start and finish were well organized, lots of water stations along the way and lots of supporters. The medal ceremony was timely and the fresh fruit at the finish line was much appreciated. The course itself was 2 laps of the park, totaling 4500m which is a very nice distance.”

“A very nice friendly event - A really nice first time event, good atmosphere, great prizes and nice venue. Only a couple of things which could be improved. Race packs should be available for collection on race morning. And a map of the course should be displayed at the start. Even though it was straightforward there was confusion as to which direction we were running and if we were to run in the park at all. Other than that very good job.”

“OK 1st attempt if they take note of feedback - As a first attempt (good quality of t-shirt), it was reasonable however for improvement, I would suggest: 1) Medals provided - it is ok if they are not, but not really for 150 aed fee and especially when registration said they would be! 2) Golf buggies should not be driving on the course as I almost got run over twice by them! 3) Better course checking of participants as saw several finish after only 1 lap (walking) 4) Water at the end of the race would have been good! ”

“Not bad for a first time event - Race collection:provide map for the Zabeel Ladies' Club next time. Race started on time: very good. There are patrols INSIDE the race track which feels so uneasy since I was wearing headphone and surprised it went past me twice. Patrol should be on the outer side of the track since you'll never know if a runner would side step Race chip rental had a very cheap strap Post Race: there are NO WATER at the end of the race. NO MEDALS TOO very disappointing as online says registration included ”

“Good atmosphere - Lovely atmosphere with great support from the organisers however the ladies driving round the course in the buggy should choose where to stop and try not to get in the way of the runners! Collection of event packs should have been available to collect on the day as stated on premier online. Medals would have been good, especially considering the price was more than other races that supply them.”

“Great run - It was a really good event, well planned, with amazing weather! Had a really good run and truly enjoyed it.. Course could have been planned better, but overall a good experience :)”

“A experience to learn from..... - The event in a whole was good but there was no check on weather a participant had completed one round or two. Due to this the result is not completely fair or correct . several participants had completed only one lap and are ranked higher than the participants who deserved the real rank. having a check on the number of laps completed by the participant would make the event fair enough. rest all was good !”
