The race started 35 mins late. So basically I waited around to start a race longer than it took for me to actually run it. Premier online mentioned that there was price money for top 5 male an female competitors. Only the top 3 in the 10km race received recognition.I placed in the 5km race and waited 1hr for a prize ceremony that never happened. ”

“No Medal. - There’s no pre-event communication. 7am became 7:30am. 1st water station @ 4.5km & it’s a waste of time unwrapping the pack of water. No medal. No pictures. NOT AGAIN.”

“Poorly organized - Several problems: Packet pickup was cumbersome and took way too long. Could have posted the numbers on a board and had people simply give their number to pick up the packets. No place to leave packets once picked up. Start was 35 minutes late. Only the last water station had someone to hand out water. The other stations had the water in the case packets, completely unusable for someone in a race. I still haven't seen the times posted. The award ceremony was more than an hour after the event.”

“Was the 1aed plastic finisher medal too much...? - Not even a plastic finisher medal to hang on the mirror for the memory, poorly organised, zero communication with the participants, no email, no description of the start/stop/race pack pickup. Nobody really cared you came or not, zero recognition for 5K runners, people pay 120 aed for something they can all do anytime, anywhere. People try to time their warm up, stretch, to be ready at the start time to kill it, just to see nobody bothered to announce or start the race till half an hour later..”

“What a let down! - No pre-event communication, no water stations, no signs, no finisher's medal! Finisher's medal was written in the items included - I guess they swapped it with a free t-shirt (that was not written in the items included). No official results, no photos whatsoever. Organizer of this event should be more ORAGNIZED! This run was very disappointing to everyone who participated. ”

“Bad orgnized - There was no medal giving to finisher at finishing line and no certification and not managed well I didn't receive any email to get my race back also the weather was so foggy and no alert message that there is delay in the race start time. the events was badly communicated with participant. The focus only on top 5 winners but not the finisher runner who came from different city to attend such events and receive nothing only T shirt and we paid 120 dhs for participation only and t shirt. ”

“Disappointing run without any medals in the end - No communication or information prior to the race. Was more or less a hasard that we read in the rules where the race pack collection will be. At the start line (we started 35m later) I had no idea if to run 2 laps, if there are water stations, signs or marshals. The organizer spoke without microphone so that only people in the 1st row could understand. Unmanned waterstation, slippy paths, no signs, only one guy holding a sign in his hands. No medals for finishers!!!”

“Paid 100 AED for a Banana - A lot of room for improvement here. A LOT! Race was delayed for unknown reasons, announcements were mostly in Arabic (not fair for my English-speaking buddies), no certificate upon finish, running path was not closed for runners (People could just walk and do their business while we were running), support station was unmanned (expected to stop pick a bottle and continue????), "Live Results" were available @ http://maroctiming.ma (which is in French only). Premiere!!! We deserve better!”

“The worst race i have ever joined - Not organized and the race was delayed to 7:30 which was at 7 and the organizer didn't announce that. The running track was so bad. Also i have sent 2 emails and no one respond. And it was written that top 5 men/women will take money as a prize, but this didn't happen. In summery i will never join this race again and it was the worst race i have ever joined. Definitely the race don't deserve to pay 55 for it i think the max price should be 20 for the bad organization.”

“Disappointed - This was a disappointing event overall. The event started over half an hour late which has consequences for people carefully fuelling themselves at specific times. The communication leading up to the day was non-existent and even worse on the morning of the race. It was advertised that there would be a presentation for positions 1-5 in both distances but nothing was said about this at the finish line. Due to the late start many people could not wait. No indication of where results can be found. ”

“Overall organization and execution needs work - The race started 30 mins late with no explanation why. The results were announced briefly and only the 10km runners were acknowledged for their run. The 5km race was disregarded completely. The event was merged together with a long and confusing ceremony. There were runners waiting for their medals, but were never told why the event ended short. The organization was messy and unclear. Premier online promised age groups but there weren't any. Some explanation in English would have helped. ”

“ok. - Pre-event communication needs to be improved considerably; direct communication with participants rather than a press conference. Posting the event rules on premier online is insufficient to prepare for event for out-of city participants. Stations to (self-)check results on site should be available.”
