“Absolutely loved this event! Definitely my new favorite trail run in the UAE. As always, the Urban Ultra Crew put on a fabulous event. Can't wait for next year!”
“Mixed terrains with stunning view as UU standard! Heat during a day was making the race more brutal. BIG Thanks to UU staff and volunteers for assistance during the race. You guys are amazing and friendly making us like family race!”
“Another amazing race through some stunning scenery”
“Nice mix of terrains and elevation. The flats were pretty exposed and the temps were high so more ice would’ve been nice at aid stations. Great markings, and as always thanks to the amazing aid station volunteers. ”
“I like the bouldering part of the trail”
“Very good the race checkin was very close to start time so no long wait
It was very hot so cold water and more water would have been appriciated for drink as well as body cooldown
Cold coca cola or similar on the last few cp
It was very hot so the long flat open part around cp 3-4 was tough / boring as it was not much trail like
Racepack giveaways wasnt much. Recieved 3 mussli packs with expiry date same month..
Otherwise very very happy with the event and the trail”
“A number of very technical sections, but that is what made it so interesting and challenging. The Urban Ultra team do an amazing job putting on these events, the organization was impeccable as always.”
“Aid station: can we have ice available as well as coke especially when it gets very warm”
“Wonderful race a technical and stunning course passing through parts of the UAE you never knew existed , absolutely breathtaking. As always with UU races wonderful support and organisation - thoroughly recommend this race. ”
“Thank you urban ultra for organizing such an amazing event. It was tough, and the manual rock climbing added was a nice change to the ultra running. Looking forward for your next event!”
“What an absolute joy. Tough course, but beautiful. It is a step up from the Hajar 50 in many ways. It's longer but less elevation and more variety. The boulders and the climbs in the wadi were astonishing. The love with which these races are organized, and the passion and friendliness of the volunteers is heart-warming. Thank you!”
