“Focus more on the athletes. - Event should serve athletes. I feel a cold atmosphere everytime I walk into NYUAD for track night. I suggest to set up a friendlier atmosphere. Talk to athletes. We dont bite. Say hi, how was training etc. Ask us if we need anything. If I tear a hamstring here, I'm not sure if anyone will even notice me! Organise something flashy for the podium ceremony..the medal giveouts and stage decoration really leaves something to be desired. Overall I feel the event in Abu Dhabi needs some life.”
