“Always a great race to be involved with. - Always a great race to be involved with! The only suggestion I would like to make is to have the start times of each wave increased by about 15 or 30 seconds as there is sometimes some confusion when one wave is on the way back and the other is making their way onto the course. Overall, it is a very well organized event and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone or participate again. ”

“Good experience. - I think the swims should have been planned better. Having a swim out and back to the same buoy for the juniors was always going to be chaos. For the sprint, the pack was very bunched at the start because of the first tight turn. Also there was a lot of confusion re timings.”

I forgot my time chip and my temporary chip obviously has not taken my time into the list. The children swim need some improvement. The outgoing and returning waves where full in collision with each other”

“Great event, route, organisation - poor breakfast! - Personally, I think medals schould only be given to rank 1,2 and 3. buy better quality give-aways or a better breakfast instead (not that the give-aways were not good :) Breakfast for Emirates Palace: :(”

“Excellent organisation and fun event for all ages. - Due to the tight starts and limitied transition space it may be better to have the event as a couse time challenge versus a race start and finish.”

“Swimming issue - The start times on the premier online site were different to the race pack, said an 8am start and was actually 7 so we nearly missed it. The junior swim was not very well planned, one kid got in trouble in the first wave and all the canoes went towards him. The lead swimmer , my son then wasn't guided to the transition area so the pack all swam towards the junior team just startinga and was chaos. There should be a canoe just I front of the lead swimmer to guide them to the beach.”

“Bit confusing - Another great event - I was a little concerned with the run route as it was different from last time - also when I got to the water station we were asked to turn around and go back- some athletes had done a loop at the end of the pathway - which was what we did last time. Also the route crossed over on doing athletes on their first loop which was odd. I remember last time no crossovers just athletes passing me - maybe there was a confusion on the run course. Still a great event.”
