“review about the race - Lack of electrolytes station for half marathon knowing its in march uphill half marathon there should have been more electrolytes station. limited toilets everyone had to wait in a long queue, there should have been more toilets breakfast & drink was cheap they should work on it. “Truly Majestic - My friends and I enjoyed running in a spectacular scenery in Hatta. This ain't easy due to the challenging hills, nevertheless it was a truly majestic and spectacular experience that I am extremely proud of finishing. “Great event - Thanks to the organisers for putting on a great event. Just a couple of points: Cars/buses should be stopped from driving into the finish area after the race has started, I was weaving around cars and even a bus! Not ideal when you are sprinting to the finish. The course was short, most of us recorded 20.5k.”

“What a Great Day Out!! - A great race and a nice change of scenery. Well supported by the hotel and plenty of enthusiastic volunteers out on the route. The 21.1 was a little short, but was also significantly less hilly than I expected. I think I read approx 450m climbing in some pre-race stuff, but only clocked half that on the day. Would love a really hilly race. Still, great event and I will be coming back with friends and family next time. Nice touch doing a full batch of AG awards.”

“Overall a great race! - A tough but enjoyable race. I did not find the route boring to be honest. Unfortunately, my chip was defective as it did not register my finish time/splits but the timing support helped me sort out my overall ranking/finish time. Overall a great race but I wish the start and finish lines can be sorted out so that one does not have to zigzag through cars and people leaving the site on the way to the finish line. Medals look boring and appear the same each year.”

“Beautiful course let down by poor organisaton - The lack of a bag drop at the start was bizarre. The on course marshalling was not the best. Generally the experience could have been improved by better sign posting. I would however definitely do the run again as the course takes in some stunning natural scenery. ”

“Fantastic race! A few suggestions to improve: - Beautiful race! Great vibe, music, Marshals, etc. A few points: Suggestions should be made to runners regarding the accommodation as it is limited. We emailed the organizers but did not get a response until a week later. We did get a booking at Hatta fort but many did not. Suggestions on alternatives (Arabian resorts, camping etc) would be helpful. Cones on the centerline to stop the cars coming into the running lane. Paper bags instead of plastic containers for the finish food packs.”
