“Nice maiden run but needs improvements - The course itself was nice and flat plus free from any traffic whatsoever. Kilometer markers were clearly visible and there were enough volunteers and water support stations. Post-race food was abundant. Medal was nice although the ribbon was a little flimsy. Start line was a little confusing with just the railing and no arch. Prize giving was more than half an hour late. And until now, I don't know what my official time is. This event needs some improvements to make it a great annual event!”

“Enjoyable event until Award Ceremony... - Unfortunately, I ended up completely disappointed by this event because I was denied the giving of my trophy after arriving 3rd in the overall 10k male category. It was obvious who came 1st, 2nd & 3rd, though unfortunately it was not for the organizing team, as they had to fully rely on the electronic timing system, which resulted into a complete flaw (placed some runner ahead of the real winner). Still expecting they get in touch with me & recognize their error. ”

“Event was good, award ceremony was bad - The bad: award ceremony was terrible, they made us wait alot and didnt follow time schedule, also bad was they only had trophy for 1st place, 2nd & 3rd no trophy?!. They also gave the guyz. The wrong gender trophy so there were confusion. The good: awesome event, beautiful course, and there was a new good superise which was an emarati catogary for all distances which was amazing. ”

“Nice new race but room for improvement - This was a first for me , or maybe even sharjah flag island. The race was fine tough not much communicaition pre-race. I think the organisers should have also emailed us more details, bib number, where to meet etc.. like others do. I'm waiting on timing if any tough there was no tracker for the start of the race which was weird... The marshalling and water stations were perfect. Medal is nice, there is also a bag but no goody. I think there is room for improvement for the next time . ”
