“Fantastic event and great social ride. - Great breakfast, great service station, great group organization ”
“Great Location. - The pre ride briefing should include the rules one should follow when riding in a group, to ensure the groups safety. Might be worth looking at a 25 km ave group for next year to and please, no Tri Bars!”
“The longest and fasted ride I've done! - Great evening really enjoyed it. Seem to remember something about fruit being available at the support station but never saw any and never took any as it was supposed to be provided. otherwise great event. Many thanks ”
“A great event with a team spirit - cu nxt year! - Thoroughly enjoyed the event - great spirit. One small niggle was that pack speeds where not as agreed....the 28-30 went out at 32-34 and caused some to drop.”
“Great event for a long ride through the night - Well organised. Great support at mosque aid station. Very relaxed atmosphere. ”
“Fantastic event - Well organised and implimented. A great event. Well done.”
“Would be great to have net time measured as well - Worth to repeat.”
“Great event - Signage was an issue at a couple of the turns (no signs) think we went right way but enjoyed the event immensely. ”
“A great riding experience & fun event - Loved the event, the course and the whole vibe, it was definitely 'Crazy Bonkers' I do however agree with many other riders in the ban on TT bikes. I was in the group with the accident and unfortunately we lost two of our group of six friends due to that accident which was predicted by us earlier! The signage could have been much better with maybe day-glow markers at the turn points to make it easier. we actually managed to get it right but I know others didn't. Sign me up for next year ”
“Great idea & great event - Definately going to do this event next year where I will be doing a lot more preparation as I could only manage 58k! Thanks for all the Organisers for staging this event.”
“Great challenge, if a little tense at times - Really awesome event. Massive kudos to Andy and the organizing team for putting this together. Well managed, with clear comms pre-event. What I felt could be improved is signalling on the track and groups management. When you have cycled for 3-4hrs in the dark and it's 2am even the experienced ones got confused with which way to go. Groups could have been better designed with allocated captains keeping people together and allocate pace keepers / marshals...but I understand that maybe unrealistic”
“Great Night, ride cut short though - Well done to the organisers great event
I am glad to see that tri bars are being banned next year, or at least in their own group
I was one of the unfortunate one's to be bought down, luckily did nt end up in hospital but cut short my ride
Might be an idea for the next ride to ask for group captains before hand, to try and keep some order within the groups
“Awesome night time event for crazy cyclists only - Great night and met many new people . 4 punctures meant a lot of stopping and starting in our group but what commardier from everyone . Chocolate biscuits at stops and more signage on route is only small enhancements for next year . Thanks to Andy and team ”
“Nice ride but cut short - Again going to add my comment to the TT bikes situation, what ended up causing the accident happened about 12 times before it ended up weaving again and clipping the rider. despite requests not to use the tri bar, these were rebuffed each time. This cut my ride short as I had to take one of the injured riders home due to a rib injury. Could do with a little more leadership in the groups as there was a lot of half wheeling, weaving etc. Still was fun got to talk to new riders which is always good”
“Challenging and fun - I thought the event was excellent. It was very friendly and I really enjoyed myself. I hadn't planned to do the full 100 miles but the rest of the cyclists I was with convinced me and I'm so glad they did. The goodie bag was also great. A couple of minor things - more variety at the stop (bananas or something similar) and some route signage would have been helpful. I'm already looking forward to next year's!”
“Great experience! - Arrange a separate group for TT bikes.”
“Great Event - So hard - Great event for all cyclists. Real challenge is to ride 100 miles and at night with lack of sleep even harder.
The big thing is that some participants need to learn to ride safely in a pack. It was a bit wild at the start but settled down a few kms.
Breakfast at 4am was interesting and good after so many hours in the saddle.
No medal but a great goodie bag for all entrants. ”
“A great event, well organised - Thanks Andy, a crazy bonkers event,”
“Nice event, room for improvement - Interesting experience to ride at night.
- some food during stops like banana's, biscuits, ...
- route directions in case you drop from the group
- what was timing chip for? Do we get timing results?
- there was no one on arrival
- breakfast could be improved...although juice was good”
“Great atmosphere and good organisation - Very good cycling spirit, good comradeship ans sportsmanship.
Only one thing I would improve. At least small signs on the route how to ride in case of drop from the group.”
“It was a great event, super! - Great organisation, thanks Andy(and team) big value for money.Super fast reactions on mail. I like events witch are not so big and everybody is creative in solutions. In the future it might be handy to sign th3 track, and have some spare tubes.
Drinks and breckfast was great. I can't think of anything negatief!!
Very special ride in the dark!
Thanks a lot

“Bigger and Better than before!! - Another wonderfully organised event, with safety and enjoyment at the heart of the ride. Well supported and stocked stopping points and nice to know support cars were close by if required! Looking forward to the 2016 edition! Personal preference is a commemorative medal over a t-shirt. Thanks to all involved.”
“Great fun - needs a few more tweaks - Overall great event - what could be better than taking advantage of Dubai's fantastic cycling tracks at Al Quadra in the Middle of summer, middle of the night and under lights?
One major improvement needed - NO TRI BIKES or Aero Bars. Combination of an inexperience rider on a Tri bike resulted in an accident in our group that left one competitor with a broken leg and serveral others badly banged up.
Leave 'em at home or ride solo - like they are designed for - no brainer!”
“Nice ride - Would probably get even more interest if you add different distances, 100 miles tends to scare a lot of people off?”
“Well organized, thank you! - Thank you for organizing this event. It was good fun and the support was outstanding. I loved it. The breakfast was not great, except a very nice espresso, but for me this was the least important part of the event, I only hope that they did not charge the organizer a lot.”
“Great event and would love to do it again. - Great event and very well organised. I hope there will be more similar events.”
