“Support was amazing. thank you to all involved :) ”
“Age groups were/are too big i.e.50 --59 & start waves were too close together. Swim was very crowded.”
“Love everything about this race. Thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend to everyone!”
“The swim course/waves can be improved ”
“Really enjoyed this. Would be good to stagger the starts a bit more as got very congested in the water, particularly as a fast female swimmer I was held up. Also nearly crashed coming into the finish of the bike as path narrowed and the combination of fast confident cyclists and novice SS cyclists was dangerous.”
“Photos post events are not properly handled. And take too long to be posted. ”
“Fantastic legacy event. Great atmosphere, location, volunteers and organisation. Recommend more time between swim waves. For novice swimmers, this swim portion of this race would have been a challenge. But overall once again a fantastic event. Thanks to the Race.ME team!”
Too epensive compared to other similar races
Breakfast options: too little vegan-vegetarian options”
“Loved the atmosphere and the organization of the event! Would leave a few more minutes between the start times / waves ... Will definitely be back! Thanks for an increadible race”
“Awesome stuff...great organisation, super volunteers...having done many of RNMT's the 'family' atmosphere draws more and more participants ...which is now seeing some impacts. 2 that I noticed was time gaps between waves re swim leg...you had best swimmers catching up to the other groups then with 2 laps often you had three groups together....daunting for the novice I'd imagine. Then the transition area...squeezing all us in meant very little room between bikes..volume v space conundrum :-) ”

For the last wave swimming -Super Sprint- better to leave a bit bigger gap to avoid traffic with Sprint guys' 2nd lap.
It wasn't a problem for me but for many beginners yes. It was a proper fight there. I enjoyed it though... Old times. Hehe.
But if the number of registrations will increase by next year you should think about that.
Thanks for all your hard work.

“Great atmosphere and has developed really well as a landmark event in the calendar. Lots to enjoy and the team has done a great job - well done and a very fitting tribute. But popularity has its price and the starts need to be broken up - rolling starts or split the big waves in 2-3 groups if possible. It’s also on the pricey side (but I guess that is venue and breakfast). ”
“Great to see so many volunteers and supporters - a huge thank you to everyone, it makes a huge difference to those of us racing to experience such support. Extremely well organised, this is a fantastic event for everyone. ”
“I’d suggest to break down the swim wave start by 5 -10 Athletes each 10 sec as IM70.3 event. As the swim was congested with full of swimmers fighting against each other for the first 50 meters or so. If this can be done without extra cost on the organizer, it may be worth trying next year.”
“Great Event. Really well organised, and the amount of marshalls/supporters/volunteers out on the course offering encouragement throughout was fantastic.
The swim felt it got quite crowded with waves going out in 6 minutes intervals (I think the JLL ones might be 10 mins apart but I could be wrong?) but on the plus side it means that everyone gets to complete their race closer together which I appreciate and understand. ”
“Thanks for organizing this nice event.
“Perfect ambiance and event Organization, will encourage my friends to participate next year ”
“It's clearly evident that there is a lot of work put in by a great number of people before the event itself, which makes the whole morning run so smoothly!! Well organised transition area with race packs all set up, clear course signage with helpful and supportive marshalls, fabulous atmosphere from start to finish, and, of course, a wonderful breakfast to round off a most enjoyable morning of acitivity!!”
“One of the best triathlon evenst in the UAE”
“Great venue, well organised and run as always. Great volunteers and spectator support, good breakfast and presentation.
Only criticism is giveaways. We don’t need any more towels or caffeine shampoo!”
“The pre race briefing was very clear and the event was well organised. The entry fee was quite high though and I know this put lots of my friends off from registering. I thought there would have been more in the racepack given the price. ”
“Well organized race st the beginning of the season.
A special event in tribute and memory of Roy Nasr”
“The event was great, like every year. Many people but well organized and Paul, Andy and the all team and volunteers did fantastic job. It was very good tribute to Roy and I'm sure he'd love to see how many happy people participated in this race. ”
“Awesome event. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Course was well laid out and organized. Great support from volunteers and spectators. Thanks guys”
“Great first triathlon of the season in an amazing location. Well organised and fantastic environment. ”
“- smooth and no-non-sense organisation
- good atmosphere
- professional organisation on the track
- amazing breakfast
only big minus point: the speed humps. I know, not your choice and fault, but they are seriously dangerous plus damage the bikes. one thing you should fix is to mark them in BOTH directions, not just on the way out from the hotel. I got taken out by one badly visible one almost 2x.”
“Thanks for a very well run anwell organised race. Special thanks to the volunteers. Cheers Taff”
“Thanks a lot! Was my first tri! And just love it”
