“My 1st Half - Can't rave enough about this one. It was my first and post this I participated in the RAK one and a few 10ks, but this by far was the best. From goody bag to the on course refreshments, marshals who were so motivating, the course itself and the breakfast at the end and did I mention the awesome medal, everything was well thought out! It was my first yet I found it the most enjoyable even though I was doing this alone. Will be back next year for sure with my hubby and friends.”

The view along the race was spectacular as well. So, it was enjoying experience overall. Just one thing: My goodie bag was super dirty, smelly and wet when I opened it. I saw also some mold in it so I was sure that it was wet for a while before I picked it up. So I needed to throw the whole thing out. Pretty disappointed as it could be good souvenir for my very first race.”

Not a big deal but kind of a bummer! Maybe hand out at packet pick-up and people can only get the size listed on Premier profile so correct numbers are ordered?”

While I agree it is a scenic course and while I ran a PR, I disagree that this is course-designed for PRs. Low light with uneven pavement, a number of sharp turns, probably up-and-down 30 sets of curbs, etc. Incredible medal Good post race support. Easy arrival / parking / departure.
