“Fun Event - Loved the event .... once again! A few things that could use improvement: 1) Photo Service was TERRIBLE!!! We waited over ONE hour to get our pictures. That is a long, long time when you are dripping wet from the race. 2) Medals would be AWESOME! While we understand that this is a charity event, maybe it would be possible to make medals optional with an extra charge. We would LOVE to have Ice Warrior medals. Thank you for organizing this event. We will be back next year.”

“FUN - I loved this event, it was fun and challenging at the same time. At the beginning of the race it was really nice that they took a group photo however i felt the direction on the day of what to do, where to go, what to collect etc wasnt as clear as it could have been. This was my first race and i found the registration process a little hectic since when we received our package no one really guided me or told me what to do. However all in all i thought it was a great event.”

“Track - I expected the course would be more challenging and harder but was average difficulty the only obstacle was the temperature everything else was alright.”

“Reasonably fun evenst to do just once... - It was fun, but from previous years' pictures it seems like it's always pretty much the same course and obstacles, and considering the entire challenge is quite short and the participation fee expensive as well as the fact that there is not much novelty the only reason why I would do it again is to get a proper time (as I was sick so I had to take it easy).”

“Photo service needs improvement, otherwise smooth - Photo service needs heavy improvement; being able to easily buy digital copies of photos would be great. Otherwise though, everything was reasonably smooth and efficient.”

“A good and different event. - A pre race briefing of the course would have been helpful and an indication of how long it should take (reason for my start/finish rating). The bag carry was a real challenge - I picked up two bags and the straps instantly broke. The third bag broke 1/3 of the way through that part of the challenge. I did not mind to much as figured it was part of the challenge for me but I certainly slowed me down and advantaged others who got a decent bag. I certainly enjoyed it and will return.”

“Nice event - Although I communicated that I need to change my t-shirt from small to medium, I received a small one at the end even though ythe organizers advices they will change it for me ”

“Need inprovement - 1) Nobody tell me where the starting point, what to do after the registration, where to get the glove (in the email said there will be rental instead I had to buy), where the spectator gather & what to do after the race. 2) No medal or certificate after finish the race? 3) The photo service is very expensive! 4) No water during the race course?”

“A very fun day - The communication prior to the even could have been earlier, - but I got a helpful response straight away when I emailed the organiser with questions. I would like to know how I can see the photos that were taken - if we have been told it has not been clear. The organisation on the day was brilliant and I LOVED the event - I will definitely be signing up next year.”

“Very 'cool' way to start the day - Amazing event, I loved the course, the obstacles. It's so pretty inside the Ski Dubai - just reminded me a day at home. Little disappointing that some participants skipped the obstacles and didn't get any penalty points. I spent around 5 min on the wall /rope climb until I managed to climb up and saw a couple of people skipping the obstacle after giving it only 1 or 2 goes. So a couple of athletes who finished in front of me (even took the podium) skipped some obstacles. Anyway I had fun”

“Good fun - Good fun and really well organised. Make sure you have the right shoes and gloves.... Very cold and slippery for me. Really well ran and great atmosphere. ”

“Very challenging. Very fun. Very well organized. - My only complaint is how long it took to view our photographs. Everything was so well organized and then we have to wait and wait while 1 person sorts through photos to find us. I thought that would be more organized. I ended up not waiting, and would've no doubt bought some the photos if they had been ready. Hope to see this improved next year. Thank you.”

“A real challenge! - The rucksacks certainly made it tougher than last year!...some fiend came up with that idea!! But an excellent challenge, fun and unique for the UAE, and managed hyper-efficiently. Agree with the comments about the wall-climb. Value for money because this is for charity.”

“More Challenging and improved than past. - Now this was a challenge. :) Adding weight to go uphill was a great idea. Marshals weren't very energetic except the one guy the iron rails. All in all much improved from the past events I attended. Well done.”

“Great Challenge - Great Organisation, highly professional. The course was a bit too much up and down hill and some obstacles could not be used anymore due to wet/icy condition (rope was pure ice at wall climbing). But overall really worth it!!”

“Awesome! - The whole thing was awesome with plenty of challenging obstacles. It would have been nice to have been given some water (preferably not too cold) at the start or finish of the climbing up the ski slope part since it was tough. Also, the rope on the wall was very hard to grip with gloves on, may have been intentional. but other than that it was an awesome way to spend a saturday morning”
