“Run one for sure, great scenic course, but... - Awesome race location, apart from the dark & sketchy start-rubble, pipes & potholes not ideal, made me paranoid at the finish too. If you could please provide more lighting here it'd be hugely appreciated & be so much safer. The goody bag was pretty bare compared to other races-you a Puma pin & that's it. When entering the race you should let people know that there is no bag drop off rather than leave it until 2 days before please...Otherwise it was a great scenic course & super post race vibe!”

If I have to compare, 2xu compression run series (race 2) medal is better. -Some dark areas on the course, you have to slow down and watch your step. -Everything else, perfect.”

“Nice route, running in the dark - Liked the event a lot, the organising, the marshaling, the after run meal :) refreshments, the medal, everything indeed. Just a few advise though to improve it further. Add some light approx 100 to 300 metres near the start/ finish line. Way too dark, or maybe even advise runners to bring their headtorch if not. Add more signs around the turns, and please bring more T-Shirts of the right size. You already have the info beforehand during the registrations. Both me and my wife missed out on it :( ”

And good that there are so many prize categories, reaching out to a wide array of runners. Looking forward to the next one.”

“OK for a first attempt - It was good to see so many people wearing the event shirts, just a pity I couldn't, apparently due to a Puma error. Course was interesting, with inclines and turns, although the first bend from the start was a bit iffy, over badly filled roadworks. The event organisers on site were efficient and friendly, and I have already received a call regarding delivery of the missing shirt. The marshallers, police and drink station staff were well organised and some were supportive, which was nice.”

“Great race to kick off the year! - Well-organized and great value for money. The only minor complaint I have is the 200 meters just after the start line (before the finish line) was a little too dark. Especially at the start when there was a lot of people running - you could hardly see what's in front of you so you rely on the person ahead of you not tripping on anything. Otherwise, it's a well-run event!”
