“Amazing experience - The course was great, both in the evening and in the morning. The whole event was very well organized and had a nice atmosphere. Next year I'll bring my own dinner - the BBQ platter was a bit small. Big thanks to organizers!”

“Amazing Run - Wonderfully organised run, really enjoyed the course. If I do it next year, I won't camp overnight. I would love to, but for the second year in a row, the dial-a-battery team have had loud music blaring out and stopped me from sleeping, despite me asking them twice to turn the music down. While I understand the importance of sponsors and volunteers- they were great on the course- I also feel that runners should come first and get some well-earned rest. Perhaps insist on a music curfew from 9pm? ”

“Great choice for first time & developing desert sk - The camping was spoilt by disrespectful campers arriving late and talking nonsense right outside our tent late at night. Pre race sleep is essential. The medals could be coloured different for the different Stinker races. Would be good to get race results a little sooner. Event give aways are fine bit overdosed in certain food types. More variety please.”

The meat was pre-cooked and reheated. for 100 AED on a event like this you would expect a good and well prepared meal especially as we had no other place to go.. the Event was great and very well organized, but the food experience was poor and this leads to an overall lesser experience.. ”

Loved the medal! My only suggestion would be to move the camp site closer to the dunes, it's quite exposed in the middle of that wind swept plain. Timing service needs improvement. ”

“A tough challenge - I chose he 20+20 event. Stage 1 - An 18.9km route with track underfoot and some soft sand. Well marked, no trouble following the route. Stage 2 - An extremely challenging half marathon. 15km of sand dunes. Once again extremely well marked. The whole event was fantastic. Despite it being the toughest thing I have ever done. Thanks to all the organisers and marshals.”

“Brilliant Challenge - This was my first 'Ultra' - a real tough test, but really well organised and great fun. Everyone was very supportive - especially the guys at the support stations ringing the bull horns! Two things to improve: 1) It would be nice to have km markers to let you know how far through you were 2) Kcal BBQ was terrible. Not worth AED 30, let alone the AED 100 we were charged. Reheated Burgers was not really what we were expecting. Really do not bother with this it was a total rip off.”
