“ A nice small race - I was not expecting to be in the top 3 so I left as soon as I finished the 5 mile race as I could not wait until 9 am for the awarding ceremony. In any case, it would be nice to know your standing once you cross the finish line so that you have the option to stay and wait for the awards in case you do place in the top 3. In any case, it was a nice small race and the results were immediately posted online. Medal is not too bad but has the potential of being re-used for future races. Great job!”

“Family friendly event on nice track! - Nice family friendly event for all ages. Minor improvement for next event maybe dust the course ahead of the race as some areas were covered with sand. Overall great organization, marshalls and support keep up the good work DDR!”

“Well organised event and course but no prize for 3 - Was quite difficult to find but once found it was a good course. Well organised and laid out. My only complaint was that there was no prize for 3rd place on the podium for some categories. The podium had a third place but there was none chosen. I would have paid a little bit more in the chance that the 3rd place receive a trophy and get to stand on the podium too.”

“Advantage / Disadvantage - Advantage : The medal design is excellent, organizers are friendly, the location is nice, price is very reasonable. Disadvantage: No live results, the certificate should show the rank out of how many participants. Thank you and will participate in all future events of Desert Road Runners. ”
