“For Improvement - The Fun run would have been better if there was a tracker for the race. The distribution of race kit was not well organized. No There was no enough water supply of water for the each station. Was not able to have water after station at 2km until the finish line. It would be great if there have been a medal or t-shirt for the said event. I hope next event it will be more organized. Good luck”

“Very poorly organised - Deceptive in terms of marketing. Ran the outskirts of the park and the inside the park . The water stations were incredibly bad. Water stations is a no brainier for any run organiser. Hardly much of an atmosphere. The draw card was suppose to be the location....biggest disappointment. They lost an opportunity to encourage more people to visit the park by showcasing it. If the parks are operated like how they operate this basic run, they wont succeed. hope they make BIG improvements ”

“Good, but need to improve - The race course was good, course with the DPR backdrop was good. Unfortunately, the organiser failed to give proper refreshment, there were no finisher medal even though it was mentioned in the schedule. It took more than an hour to give the trophies. We were very disappointed, we travelled all the way from Sharjah to support this event and nothing memorable happened. I believe the organiser will definitely look into these in the next season Thanks”

“Awesome: One of my most memorable races!!! - First off, it was really nice of the organizers to host this event, FOC! Kudos to them! Keeping this in mind, it was an awesome race. Even transport to and fro was organized which was a nice gesture. Organizers were friendly and professional. The prize ceremony should've been held in a shaded area though. But won't dwell on it too much. Overall, a very nice experience. Cheers!”

“It was fine run to see Dubai Park that's all. - Organizer should ensure water station should be refill has this will be critical specially for those feeling dehydrated which can cause some serious injury to the runner. And instead of every 2Km water station they should put 1k or less with putting on water cup or small bottle. Also even event is free atleast they provide some certificate of participation or medals for those who run. Anyway organizer need to improve as they mentioned on presentation. ”

“Overall good experience for me as First timer - Overall, the event was good. Only there was a shortage of water. We were informed before starting that water will be available every 2km, but unfortunately, they got ran out of it and was able only to get water after 6km. But i fairness to the organizer, we felt the sympathy and had apologized for the unfortunate event and they disseminated staff to roam around the area to hand-over waters. Also no shirts or other giveaways. But still I would still love to join next time.”

“No Water! - As others have said, the distance markers were incorrect and there was no water at any of the three stations for anything but the first group of runners who were probably the ones who needed it the least. There were staff still standing at the stations who surely could have had more water delivered when they realised they were running out. Water should be in cups not bottles. Course was fine but not through the Parks grounds until the last part through Riverland. ”

“Disappointing - Grated the race was free but the event was poor. The event was advertised as running through the parks however, the entire course consisted of running the perimeter of Dubai Parks and resorts, with only the final 100 meters being through Riverland. The route marks were placed incorrectly showing the distances at incorrect intervals. The water tables were unacceptable, with only the first table actually having water. The finish was anti-climatic, again with no water. This race was disappointing ”

“Pathetic is an Understatement to describe - I registered online on this site. Why? I do not know. The bib no registered was never given. Anyone who came in the morning got a A4 size printed random number and 4 nos ... nothing more nor less. We were told every 2 kms there would be water stations. Still searching for water @ 4 and 6 km mark. The Marking of distances was very inaccurate. Post run prize distribution took ages. In their own words, it was their 1st year and they ticked all boxes as what not to do while organising a run!!”

“Very badly organised event - At race pack collection we were told our numbers were on premier online so I checked and got my bib number but then the man handing out numbers just wanted to give me any number - needed to refuse and insist on my number. Distance markets were all wrong - water stations were not as mentioned at every 2 km and every water station had run out of water and I was about middle pack. It started at 0730 - was already getting quite hot and with no water this was dangerous. No medal - nothing after race.”

“In general, for a first-time and free it was good - Good event but can be improved. The route was good but it would have been great if there more signs. Only say 2, 4, 6KM signs but afterward, none leading up to the finish line. There were only 2 water stations and there was no water. Would have been nice if they had an opening with warm-up exercises for everyone with great music to add to the hype and also at the end. Just a thought, there was a registration with Premiere but at the race pack collection, everyone was randomly given a bib number?”

“It could be better - I will not talk about shirts or medals cause I know this is a free event. At least the water should be available. Once they announced that every 2km there is a water station, I was hoping it’s true! But yeah, every 2km there was no water! The course is less than 8km, for sure. Marshalling was great, the post run program is nice , kinda hoping a random raffle will be given but i guess it’s only for top 20 Finishers. Anyway, thank you it’s the first DPR run and we’re glad we participated! ”

“Amateur morning at the park - A fantastic opportunity from for fun and marketing - ruined. For many, this was a chance to run around the park - well, that's exactly what happened, we all ran on the bypass roads with little sight of the 'fun' Pre registration seemed unnecessary as you arrived and given a random number from the pile. Liability? Also, how many people can you now email, thank them for participation and direct market? No medals, certificate - or even a managed finish line, MASSIVE ANTICLIMAX and little fun.. ”

“No medals ,no water ,no time tracker ,no shirt ?! - You would pick any random race number and no shirts were available They said every 3k there will be water statstions which had only 3 empty boxes of Alain water and no once was there at all No event organizers were around or at least I did t notice .if it was a fun run then there should be medals ,refreshments at least for kids Finish line was not highlighted till exactly what point and people were walking around and taking selfies right on the finish line!no time tracker!! ”
