“It was an awesome day! - The route needed to be different as New Cairo weather (no trees all sunny) and up hill was so tough. The same issue at certification collection! The certificates can be handed without names for easiness or already prepared by participants names to avoid the hassle. Overall Cairo Runners are the best organizers for such huge events and I would be delighted to participate with them. Great Job!”

“Great running event with more room for improvement - The lockers can be organized in a much better way than how they were at the event yesterday. It may be a good idea to assign each bag a number plate and place them in the locker in numerical order, giving each bag owner a copy of the same number plate as that assigned to their bag. Then after the race, the bag owner can simply retrieve their bag by showing the number plate to the person esponsible for the bags who would know exactly where the bag is as they would be arranged in order. ”

“Proud and content to have participated - The idea behind choosing this route was very smart and strategic. Many volunteers along the way, felt very safe during and after the run. Lockers were okay. My bag was in safe hands but the organization lacked professionality and efficiency. Believe this can be a lot improved the next time. Would definitely go for it all over again. “Poor event - Pick up race kit . Small area no gel powder to buy . ! Changing route early morning before start! Poor storage desk. No moving toilet long route 42km. I went toilet in gas station! Medic service very poor. I try to find spray from 15 km to 37 km! One point only for electolite drinks ! Other point is finished! Organizer in route left positions and some people lose finish line Comedy think! . Two medal types for the same finisher ! Highly not recommended !”

“You are transforming Egypt.. seriously.. thank you - Great example of an amazingly inclusive event bringing serious runners with families with para athletes. All backgrounds.. seriously changing ppl and making them believe in themselves. The route was nasty with the slopes. Please consider a Nile or pyramids marathon. Much more impressive scenery. Please do something about the bottles. At least use the smallest size.. or just give us little ice cubes directly in our hands or sell something to hold the bottle. Pls consider long sleeve shirts.”

“This was by far the best running event in Egypt - 1. The 10 Km run didn't have a timing chip?! Which I was counting on for more accurate timing than my watch. 2. The bag check / lockers was horrible ... I spent 2 hours after the race standing trying to get my bag. You could've put places for each race not all in one , or at least used any sort of sorting technique to make it faster. Keep it up and can't wait for the next event . Thanks you ”

“Efficient organization, excellent to have in Egypt - Very goof effort, but needs to be built up on, in terms of signages, timing and the refreshment stations. 10 K is a very importsnt event, we need to have it as an offixial race next time not a fun run. New Cairo is the worst choice for the course, the elevation is the worst in Cairo, its a really hilly location, please reciew the number of injuries among participants, also the average time ofthe participants is below the normal average due to the nature of the location.”

“Plenty of space for improvement - Having all races finishing at the same time and place wasn’t a good idea. It was too hazardous for runners and kids. Lane to and after finish line was too narrow. There was almost no entertainment compared to 2016. There should have been a faq section on the mobile app and on website since communication wasn’t regular and questions were repetitive. Parking was a nightmare and not well organized Lockers weren’t well organized and there were very few people looking after it ”
