“Still amazing! - Despite on one of the parts of the route there were no marshals so we got a bit lost, it's still my favorite run and I am recommending it to everyone! Amazing place for a race, great medals and of course opportunity to come to Al Ain to walk in the zoo) Great idea for a weekend with friends or family!”

“Some improvement required to attract more runners - The track and organization are good as usual but i have 2 comments which i raised before but was not applied so i hope it will be applied in the next Al Ain zoo race. - Track is 9.2km and not 10km, this is really upsetting, last time in race 2 it was 9.6Km. - The Medals are always the same, please provide Unique Medals so we can keep for good memories from these races.”

“More of a family event - Overall good value, start time should probably have been half an hour earlier as was too hot by 7.30. Biggest disappointment being distance was short of 10k actually around 9.2/9.3 k according to GPS trackers. ”

“Great event - Loved the race and will definately do it again. Shame family members weren't allowed in to some of the course to cheer us on, however staff did an amazing job encouraging and supporting us. Loved seeing everyone of different abilities and age competing. Thanks for all the organisers and staff who made this event happen”

“Great fun for the whole family. - It would be better to split the children from the adults and teenagers for the start as the children are so small that they can get hurt. In fact, one child did fall over at the start and was in danger of being trampled. Some of the adults said that it was difficult to see a small child in front of you when you are looking ahead at where you are running and not down to the ground. If the adults and 14-16 group started and then the children a few minutes later it would be a lot safer. ”

“Amazing, especially the Marshalls & support staff - I have nothing but great things to say- location, value for money.... But I especially want to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to all the marshalls and support staff. Not once did I see any of them on their phones looking bored. Nope ... cheering and encouraging and smiling... This was by far the most encouraged I felt at an event like this and even though you didn’t know me, all of you made me feel so supported and encouraged. It really kept me going. Also the route was clear. THANK YOU!!! ”

“Incredible organization, extremely fun course! - Everything was perfect - the course, the bib pick up, the water being cold, the photos, the timing and results, all of it! Heads up to those of you who are big on Event Giveaways: there's no swag bag or t-shirt because the event is so cheap; instead, you get zoo admission. Animals > another water bottle. The breakfast spread, yet again, was great value for money and there was more than enough food and coffee.”

“Great race - When things are done well , you just enjoy the race.it’s my second zoo race and i can say that the orginsation is one of thebest you can find. Everything was smooth, the medals now show al ain zio and the race so thanks for listening to our feedback. The price went up but you remain the cheapest so i just hope this carries on. The main remak would be the race which was 9.24 on my tracker. I do understand those who wanted more water stations but this didn’t bother me. Many thanks again”

“Amazing experience...was it really 10km though? - It was an amazing experience, I really enjoyed it. Would be better if supporters were allowed into some parts of the Zoo to cheer. Also was it actually 10km? My 2 trackers has the course at 9.2kms....”

“Great setting, Take water. - Great setting, amazing run and I had a great time. The only problem was that there was only one water station (we were told there would be 2, but the lone station was just before the 2k mark), when I got to it there was no water, less than half the people in the run had passed it by this point, at the station they told us to keep running a little bit further and there would be another station, there wasn't. I would like to do this event again, but I would take water next time.”

“Great event overall, a couple of areas for improve - Good course however it is a bit shorter than 5km. Also, the categories have been combined for children so the 11-15 year olds were in the same category- this is quite unfair as all of the other categories are 2/3 years and the 11 year olds are at a disadvantage and less likely to medal against 15 year olds when they would otherwise medal in 11-13 age! Also I think there should be an additional water stop on the 5k route as one is not enough. Overall I really like the event! ”
