“A very average 10k - The pre race sign up and communication was good. They couldn't find my race pack on the morning and the lady behind the counter was extremely unhelpful and just said I can't find it and went to serve another person. I then had to see another person and finally got sent to the premier online people who were very helpful. This meant that i did not recieve my race tshirt. The start is so narrow that you almost end up stopping near the beginning because of the amount of people. Rude marshal”

My request is to create group of 60 to 64 years and second group 65 to 70 years. This will motivate me to run regularly. Thank you for your understanding. ”

“Great race - A little confusion when the 5k with the 5k and 10k runners. I have competed in several runs in the UK and head phones are banned. Seriously think you should do the same ”

“Will do next year - A great race overall but the start and finish were very jumbled and there was a lot of crowding. Maybe the marshalls could have kept a clearer area in the beginning and end? We want better breakfasts!”

“Very good, although a little improvement needed - It was very good. Area to improve: At the start the kids for the 5k were started behind which was a good idea to protect them from the initial confusion. Suggest that the same applies to the people walking - the first 500 meters were quite dangerous with the need to zig zag around people that started on the first third of the pack but then walked. With the wet ground, loose pavement, short kerbs this wasn't the best part of the race.”

“First Timer - As a first timer to this event I was unsure if music players were allowed and I checked the pre race email and I didn't see anything about that on there. On the day I saw that they were allowed but then I was told by a marshall on the course that I must leave one ear bud out to be able to hear instructions. I love being able to run with music but if it is a safety issue then there shouldn't be a grey area and they should rather not be allowed. Other than that a fantastic event. ”

“Great organisation,good venue,fantstic atmosphere - Reg fee included excellent quality Saucony T shirt, medal, sun visor, water, aqualite,breakfast pack and a CHARITY DONATION.The course was on closed roads in shade and sun with greenery. There were sports vendors at the venue,along with free activations and a coffee shop with shaded places to sit. All podium places got trophies and prizes. What an earth else could anyone want? A thousand times better than the ITU or TriYas or any other events we go to. ”

“Another fantastic event - How can anyone complain about this event, not sure what it would take to please some people. These races are the same standard every time, high. Maybe massages at the aid stations for tired runners and table service breakfast at the end - come on organisers make an effort!!! BTW thought the medal was too heavy and the ribbon chaffed my neck!! Well done to all the volunteers for giving up their free time so these events can happen. Thanks, can't wait for the next one!”
