“A very enjoyable event - It would have been nice if, having been put in the Veterans category, if some recognition could have been given to coming first in that category. I was able to understand that the Masters and the Veterans categories had been combined (although I have no idea why) but it wouldn't have killed anyone to announce the fastest veteran (old people have feels too............)”

“The Palace is an amazing location for the race - Very well organised. Food pack and drinks were of very high quality. Great parking next to event. Only complaint is that they could have done further distances for the swim/run and had the finish line on the path rather than on the sand.”

“Best venue for the family - This event was a great day out for the family. Being in such 7 stars hotel with the great organization was such great morning for the whole family. This one and TriYas so far are the best family friendly races I have ever participated. I reached the race venue at 6:45 and there was no T-Shirt for my size (Large), that was sad since I like to collect them a form of souvenirs. Also, the breakfast was a good idea but the one you handed in St. Regis hotel was better. Keep the good job!”

“A competitive race with good energy - This was my first aquathlon - and I was surprised at how competitive it was. The course was very well organized with great marshals. My only suggestion would be for the longer races to start first so that there is sufficient time to finish. It didn't make sense to me that the kids' and shorter distance race started before the sprint distance - meaning that those doing the longest distance arrived at the finish as people were leaving (and walking across the course) and packing up the beach”

“Excellent, well organised and friendly event! - Thank you to all the volunteers. They were brilliant. Perhaps different coloured hats for the different wave starts. I saw quite a few Open category people (black numbers on arm) starting with the Masters start. Not intentionally cheating, they just didn't realise. Different coloured hats would have made it obvious they needed to wait for their wave.”
