“A wonderful start to the weekend! - The venue and organisation were excellent. Very helpful staff and stewards and the registering at the venue was well-run. The course itself was very good. Apart from being stung by jellyfish in the water, I enjoyed the event! However, we were previously informed we could use the beach until 10am - the lifeguard said we had to clear by 9.30am as 'guests were arriving'. There were 2 other people on the beach! Anyway, will gladly participate again. Many thanks! ”

“Great morning out - This was a great event at a spectacular location. Everything was well organised and the inclusion of the junior and tiny tots races made this a great family morning out. The only thing that could have been improved would be to have some vinegar on hand for those exiting the water with jelly fish stings. ”

Is it possible though, to introduce U10s, U12s, U14s etc as to be 8 competing against an 11 year old and being 12 competing against a 16 year old isn't much fun. Just a thought!”

“It was fun for a 1st timer but confusing - I just hoped we were told about the Jelly fish before the swim. Also, I was totally confused about the super sprint swim part, 2 people next to me told me to turn right with the 1st red buoy! which I had to know myself during the race it self that I should continue straight further to the other buoy! Other than that all were helpful, i was given a pack of ice for the jelly fish (I though it was a cramp because I didn't expect jelly fish at all!) :)”

“Great Swim! Great Run! Great Family Event! - This was a well organised event, with lots of sponsor provided items to engage every one. One suggestion it would be nice, if possible, to finish the last 25 meters run on the grass or pavement and not end up in the sand, getting the shoes all muddy. The route marshals & water station staff were excellent. Goody bag, medal, shirt, breakfast...all included, well done Abu Dhabi Tri Club keep it up! ”

“Swim and run in Emirates Palace! - Very well organized . Near perfection! Only issue: very very stingy Gelly Fish , which can be dangerous to the kids. It would be best to plan of some vinager for the victims. The medic should also be prepared for such case. Apart from that great to run in the Palace gardens! Well done guys! ”
