Expo 2020 Dubai’s Walk for People and Planet is the culmination of the Programme for People and Planet, which as you know has brought together an unparalleled diversity of perspectives in response to the greatest and most urgent shared challenges and opportunities of our time.
From governments to the private sector, academia and everyday changemakers, we have come together to accelerate momentum and collective responsibility for accomplishing the SDGs among stakeholders at every level and from every nation. Now we at Expo 2020 Dubai hand that baton on: from a moment in time, to the movement of a lifetime.

  ● Registration is free of charge
  ● The route is 3km in length
  ● Participants should aim to arrive at the starting point at Expo Sports Arena by 07:00 am
  ● Participants should take note of weather forecast on the day
  ● Water stations will be available at the finish point and a position on the route.
  ● Participants are encouraged to park in the Mobility District Car Parking

• Do I need to purchase a Dubai Expo entry ticket for this event?

  Pre-Registered entrants will be allocated with an entry ticket to access Expo 2020 on the day of the event. Registration on the day of the event is not permitted. Spectators will also need to pay the full entry price. For EXPO entry pricing please click here.

• How do I get to the venue?

  Multiple options are available and include Metro, Taxi or Drive.
  
  The only entrance for this event will be through the MOBILITY Gate. So if you are driving, you are encouraged to park in Mobility Car Park or take the Metro as these are the 2 most convenient options to arrive at the event.

• What are the Course Highlights?

  The entire EXPO 2020 site - especially Ghaf Avaneue where you will be passing through!

  • There is NO registration on the day.
  
  • Any participants arriving after 7.30am will unfortunately not be allowed to enter the Expo site until 8am due to updated entry procedures..

• How easy/difficult is the course?

  Easy, perfect for all levels of walkers and stroller friendly as well!

• What are the support stations and where are they placed?

  One at the Finish and one at 1.5km on the course

• Where can I find my certificate?

  Go to the Super Sports website at SuperSportsUAE.com – search for: Race Results and then find your respective event and follow the links from there.

• Will there be a BAG DROP for me to leave belongings while I participate?

  No BAG DROP will be available so what you bring with you will need to carry with you.

• Do I need to be fully vaccinated with COVID-19 Vaccine to participate?

  Visitors aged 18 years and above will be required to present proof of any vaccine recognized by their national government or a negative PCR test taken within the previous 72 hours.

• How is this event handling Covid19 related concerns?

  • Participants to wear a mask throughout attendance at Expo 2002
  • Staff will wear masks for the entire duration of the event and sanitize regularly.
  • Self-social distancing at all times except when participating.
  • Self-service water stations out on course and at the finish line
  • Several sanitize stations in the walk village and surrounding areas.
  • If you feel unwell on the morning of the event with flu-like symptoms, please stay at home!
