Urban-Ultra Wadi Racer

Here you will be racing through the wadi in the darkness with a headlamp (not supplied) – terrain is single track trail, gravel jeep track and rocky wadi bed with undulations.
The course will be marked with light reflective material for navigation. Let’s stay fit and outdoors with little but yourself to keep you company. This event has been adapted due to circumstances out of our control and in keeping with Ramadan timings.

The single stage NEW THIS SEASON a 5k starting at 8am, or 10k, 20k or 30k trail running adventure will start and finish near the village of Al Haniyah and Al Ghayl.

When and where is the Race Pack collection?

Race number and race pack collection will now be on RACE DAY ONLY – we will not be asking you to travel to any mall or store.
Start Time & Location

Starting at 7.00pm for 10/20/30k runners and 8pm for 5k runners
Course Info

NEW START TIME of 7am means no head torch required. Terrain is non-technical gravel jeep track and rocky wadi bed with short sharp climbs and undulations. The course will be marked with spray paint for easy navigation.
Please note, that the course road is not closed to traffic, and locals use parts of it to access their villages. Be aware that you may encounter a minimal amount of cars or trucks whilst running.
Support Stations

Water and electrolyte drinks will be provided during the race at the checkpoints but please make sure that your obligatory hydration pack (1.5ltr minimum) is fully filled from your own supplies before the start. All runners for all distances must carry the specified water minimum.
Cut Off Times

Race cut-off is 5hrs – you must reach 15km point by 00:00am.
