The single stage 10k, 20k or 30k trail run in the dark will start and finish at Wadi Showka.
The course is 100% gravel jeep track and rocky wadi bed with short sharp climbs and undulations. The course will be marked with light reflective material for navigation - so you need a torch!
This course is perfect for beginners to trail running!

IMPORTANT COVID SAFETY: To limit the possible spread of the virus we are trying out a new format where you will ‘ARRIVE & RUN’. This means that you must arrive between 6.30pm and 7pm. Runners can begin to run anytime in that slot. No runners will be permitted to run after 7pm. The new format gives an extra dimension to your competitors too – no one can see who is ahead or behind, so it is all out if you want to win!
Please ensure you do not gather in any groups – socially distance yourself from any other runner at the checkpoints and in the car park
There will be NO TOUCHING the water coolers by runners, a member of staff will assist you to fill your bottle
Sanitizer and hand washing stations will be mandatory if you wish to collect fruit along the course
Runners will wear masks unless on the course running – masks are mandatory at all other times
Another change will be there is no pre-race briefing, so you need to read your Athlete Guide thoroughly
Also note that because of the new format, we will not know who has won the race until everyone has finished, therefore we will award trophies at a later date without a gathering. We will notify winners by email or telephone the following day.

• When and where is the Race Pack Collection?

  Race pack collection at Adventure HQ from Tuesday 22nd September up to race day (Ground Floor, Times Square Mall, Sheikh Zayed Road during opening hours). If you live outside of Dubai, you may request race day collection by selecting the option upon registration. Race Packs will otherwise NOT be taken to the start line, so please ensure you collect prior to race day. Thank you.

• Where is the Start & Finish location? And what are the Cut off time?

  The single stage 10k, 20k or 30k trail run will start and finish at Wadi Showka (Google Maps available on event page). Starting at 7.00pm sharp! (Race cut-off is 4.5hrs for the 30k distance).

• What are the Race times?

  Arrive and start anytime between 6.30pm and 7pm. No runners allowed after 7pm

• Any additional information participants should know about?

  You must bring your own headtorch or flashlight to participate in this event as markers are not visible without one.
  Remember: if you live outside of Dubai, you can request race day race pack collection upon registration.
  There are no hotels nearby, so your options are driving to and from the site for the event or camping once you are finished. (No campsite is allocated but you are free to find yourself a place to pitch your tent, there are plenty of lovely areas).
  Fruit, water and electrolyte drinks will be provided during the race at the checkpoints but please make sure that your obligatory hydration pack (1.5ltr) is fully filled from your own supplies before the start. This applies to ALL distances.
  Please be respectful of our surroundings and keep impact to a minimum. Leaving nothing but footprints when we leave.

• Is there any award giving in this event?
