The run takes you around the beautiful Dubai Festival City including a loop of the golf course and onto the Creek boardwalk offering runners the best of both views as the sun rises over Dubai. This course is known to be a quick one and PB's are easily achieved.

• Race Start Times:

  Festival City Half marathon - 6:30am
  Festival City Run 10k - 7:00am
  Festival City Run 5K - 7:30am
  Festival City Run teeny Tiny 1K - 9:15am

• Directions and Parking Info:

  Dubai Festival City Half is taking place around Dubai Festival City mall, Al Badia and Al badia golf course.
  There is a dedicated car park for all race entrants within NOVO CINEMA Car Park GOLD section.
  Please follow the signage and instructions of road side marshals.
  Follow the signs from Al Rebat street towards Festival Centre and head straight towards Holiday Inn Hotel. After passing the hotel you will find the entrance towards NOVO Cinema Parking.
  Marshals will guide you from the car park to the ground floor mall level until you reach the race village and start venue.
  Please try to be early to avoid delays or traffic as we’re expecting a lot of people.

• Race Pack Collection:

  October 30: 10:00am - 10:00pm at Dubai Festival City mall - festival square
  You can collect your race pack 2 days prior to the Dubai Festival City Half. Please follow the signs towards the race registration area located at Festival Square, 6 metres in front of the ARADA stand. You will find your race number displayed on the information boards. Once registered please collect your drawstring bag from one of the RaceME
  officials.

• Medical Advice:

  UAE climate: It is essential that you are aware of the weather conditions during the race. It is expected
  to be hot with very little, if any, shade. We will have ambulances on standby throughout the duration of the race but you must take care to race sensibly in such conditions. If you start to get headaches, feel dizzy and nauseous then you may be suffering from heat exhaustion and need to seek medical advice. Listen to your body. Talk to the nearest volunteer who will be able to help you get attention. The common symptoms of heat exhaustion include: confusion, muscle cramps, heavy sweating, headaches, nausea/vomiting and dizziness. If you become aware of these symptoms then seek medical help.
  
  Sufficient hydration: Please stay hydrated and drink plenty of fluids in the days leading up to the race and remember to continue to take on fluids on the morning before the swim start. During the run try to take on board about 500ml of fluids per hour. There will be water available from aid st

  The race village will be operated from 6am onwards until 1 hour after the last runner has crossed the finish line.

• Race Briefing:

  6:00am / 6:15am / 7:15am (designated briefing area within the athlete’s village)
  There will be compulsory race briefings from 6:00am onwards.
  Please attend this as any last minute changes will be discussed and any questions answered.

• Bag Collection:

  You can leave your personal items at the bag drop area inside the athlete’s village. Please make sure your Dubai Festival City Half draw string bag has your race number clearly written on it. Bags can be collected after the Run is completed. Please note that we cannot take any responsibility for your personally belongings during the event and you will only be able to reclaim your bag with your corresponding bib.
