The Hatta Hills Run 2021 offers spectacular scenery for the 21.1km Half Marathon and 10km runners as the route takes you through palm treed villages, up to the beautiful blue waters of the reservoir and dam with the majestic Hajar mountains in the distance, as well as some challenging hills to increase the heart rate. The 5km runners will head out the hotel and will run through Hatta, while for the 2.5km runners, a X-Country course has been prepared within the beautiful and hilly grounds of the Hotel which will finish in the same place as all other runners on the morning. This run is for the whole family with 4 different distances to choose from on the day. From the advanced and the long distance runners to the more social and those enjoying the natural beauty. All ages and abilities are invited and a mix of on and off-road running will be experienced by all runners.
All finishers receive a breakfast snack box, bring your picnic blankets and enjoy relaxing and socializing in the Hatta race village with friends and family after your run.

• How do I find my race number?

  Race Numbers will be allocated once entries close and be available for download from midday on the Wednesday before the Race.

• When is Race Check In and race number and timing chip collection?

  Your race number and timing chip collection is on the morning of the race at Race Check In which opens at 6am.
  Race numbers will be emailed to all runners and will also be on show at Race Check In on the morning of the race.
  Once you know your race number, proceed directly to your respective Bib collection desk and collect your Bib # with timing chip attached.
  
  Please check that all your data which is printed on the label of the race pack envelope is correct. This includes
  your name, age category, gender and distance and in the event of there being any errors, please let our registration staff know so we can change it for you so you have the correct result when finishing the race.
  
  You must have checked in and received your timing chip 30 minutes before your race start.

• Where is the event venue and parking?

  JA Hatta Fort Hotel, Easy drive to Hatta via main roads and NO passport control.
  Once you enter the hotel main entrance, follow signage to parking area which is close to start and finish line.

• What is the race day program and timings?

  You must have checked in and received your timing chip 30 minutes before your race start.

• What do I need to know about my race bib?

  Bibs must be worn on your upper body with the number facing outward.
  Once finished racing, hand your race bib in at the T Shirt stand and collect your free shirt.
  Safety pins will be provided in and around the Race Check In area or bring your own race belt.
  Race belts will be on sale on the morning of the race.

• What do I need to know about my timing chip?

  Timing chips are attached to the back of your race bib.
  Ensure your bib has 1 timing chip stuck to the back and if not, please see Super Sports staff on the day to issue you with a new bib.
  DO NOT REMOVE THE CHIP FROM THE BIB. IF YOU RUN WITH NO BIB – YOU WILL RECEIVE NO TIME AND NO RESULT!

• How easy/ difficult is the course?

  For competitors of all levels, Challenging course with uphills and downhills

• What are the course surfaces?

  21.1km Half Marathon – 80% tarred road, 20% hard compact gravel
  10km – 90% tarred road, 10% hard compact gravel
  5km – 100% tarred road
  2.5km – 10% tarred road, 90% trail running

• What are the support stations and where are they placed?

  There are water stations every 2/3km out on course and 1 at the finish line.

• Where do I collect my free shirt from?

  Once finished racing, hand your race bib in at the T-Shirt stand and collect your free shirt.

• Are there any Family Discounts available?

  Family discounts are available for families of 3 or more wanting to enter this event, and are ONLY for parents and THEIR children and is offered by Super Sports to make it more economically viable for the whole family to participate. • Where can I find the results?

  As soon as you have crossed the finish line, check the tablets at the race result stand in the race village for your immediate race result.
  Provisional results are released directly after prize giving at http://www.supersportsuae.com/race-results/ .
  Final results once all has been checked and confirmed.

• Where can I find the race photos?

  The available race photos can be found on Facebook: Super Sports Events and are posted 72 hours after race finish. Individual photos are not included in the race fee nor guaranteed.

• What are the accommodation options?

  JA Hatta Fort Hotel – 04 814 5400 to book or Hatta Wadi Hub has 2 camping options, free or paid, both have shower and toilets.

• How is this event handling Covid19 related concerns?

  No spectators – only for juniors under the age of 12 years a parent is allowed to support.
  Participants to wear a mask before the start and once you finish the event (no need to wear a mask while participating).
  Temperature check at CHECK IN on the day.
  Staff will wear masks for the entire duration of the event and sanitize regularly.
  Self-social distancing of 2m at all times except when participating.
  Self-service water stations out on course and at the finish line
  Several sanitize stations in race village and Check In areas.
  If you feel unwell on the morning of the event with flu-like symptoms, please stay at home!

• Why have I not received any race emails from the event organizer?

  Race emails are sent 7 days before race day, and on the Wednesday before the race at midday.
