The Emirates NBD Unity Run is the leading community event in the UAE, supporting people of determination and promoting the cause of inclusiveness in all areas of society. It actively supports Al Noor Training Centre for People of Determination, Senses Residential and Day Care Centre and Red Crescent.
The Emirates NBD Unity Run takes place on the 5th of November 2021 in Dubai Silicon Oasis, under the Patronage of HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Chairman of the Higher Committee for the Protection of the Rights of People of Determination, and organized under the umbrella of the Hamdan bin Mohammed Community Sports Initiative.
Participants can enter a 3 km fun run/walk or the un-timed 5km. People of Determination and their ‘buddies’ are encouraged to participate and join in the carnival atmosphere as everyone celebrates unity in diversity in the UAE.

• Who is eligible to enter the run?

  Participants below 18 years of age, must obtain parent’s/guardian’s consent to participate.
  Please note that Under-10 year old’s have to be accompanied by one adult.
  Stroller runners must consist of one adult with a child in a stroller.

• Can people with disabilities take part ?

  People of all abilities are welcomed and encouraged to participate.
  Entry for people of determination is completely free of charge.
  Participants may walk run or use wheel chairs.

• When and where is The Emirates NBD Unity Run 2021?

  The Emirates NBD Unity Run will be held on the 5th November 2021 at the stunning pineapple building in Dubai Silicon Oasis.

• Will there be hydration stations available?

  Yes. Participants can refresh themselves with water provided at the Al Ain Water hydration stations along the race route.

• What are the event facilities and services?

  Medical :Registered Nurse and / or Paramedic present, Physician present.
  Parking and Wheelchair: There is plenty of parking space in Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority building and overflow parking
  Toilets: Available

  6:00 AM - Open Registration
  6:30 AM - Open Unity Village
  7:30 AM - Close Registration
  7:45 AM - Race briefing & Warm up

  Please note:
  All access roads closing 7:45 AM
  Participants are advised to arrive at least one hour before their run/walk starts
  All Unity Village vendors are advised to be set up by 6:15 AM

• When is the registration closing date?

  Registration closes on Tuesday 2nd November 2021 or when The Emirates NBD Unity Run capacity is full. Register early to avoid any disappointment

• Where do we find Post event photos and video?

  Post event official photos and video will be posted on the event website and social media platforms.

• Can participants with disabilities walk or run with a ‘buddy’ along - side?

  We welcome ‘buddies’ and they too may participate for free. We have an active volunteer program with volunteers offering to be buddies. On the day we can match buddies to participants if required.

• Health Advisory:

  The health and safety of all participants, spectators, visitors, event management, and crew is our highest priority. Regarding the COVID 19 pandemic, we will follow the guidelines and protocols stipulated by the UAE Ministry of Health & Prevention and Dubai Health Authority to ensure that every precautionary measure is implemented and adhered to in line with the UAE Government regulations. Adherence to the 2 meter social distancing rules, regularly sanitizing and wearing masks at all times (unless engaged in a sports activity), will be strictly enforced.

  The Emirates NBD Unity Run will start and finish at the pineapple building in Dubai Silicon Oasis.
  There will be two marked distances, 3km and 5km.

  Strollers are allowed, as well as wheelchairs.
