We are excited to announce that Al Salam Championship is back for the 2021-2022 season!
The second race of the season will be a desert bike challenge around the beautiful Expo 2020 Lakes, located in Al Qudra, Dubai.

The race is exclusively for Amateur Emirati Males.

Participation in the Al Salam Championship - Desert Race 1 is by invitation only. Participants will receive an official invitation from the Office of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashed Al Maktoum to register.

Participants who are not invited will automatically be unregistered for the event.

By what time should I arrive at the event venue?

The venue is opened from 10:00h. The race will start at 13:30h and the venue will close 30 minutes before the start of the race.
What are the start time(s) of the event?

The race will start at 13:30h. Make sure to be in time for Race Pack Collection and Bike inspection.

Race Pack Collection starts at 10:00h and will close at 13:00h
Will there be support stations? If yes, how many, where, providing what support?

There will be water and support stations on the route. More details on the exact location of the support stations will be shared on the route map inside the race venue.
Do I need to be vaccinated or tested for the Event

All participants need to be fully vaccinated (2 doses) and will need to be tested (Green Status in AL HOSN APP).
Upon entering the venue on of our team members will verify your status in the Al Hosn App.
The rules do not only apply for participants but also for the coaches, team members and support staff. If you don't comply with the Covid-19 protocols, you will be denied access to the venue and therefore the race.
