The Rum International Marathon in the desert of Wadi Rum consists of individual and relay runs which start from the Petra site and end in Wadi Rum

  • When is the collection of the race pack?

    Collection of bib numbers and t-shirts is when you arrive to the camp.

  • Medical Conditions:

    1. Provide a medical report stamped & signed by a medical practitioner.
    2. Provide a cardiac planning before the start of the race with a max. of 30 days or
    min. of 1 day before the race. Stamped & signed with the date.

  • Violations:

    1. Any participant will be excluded if he didn’t provide the medical report & ECG at the moment of inspection
    2. Any participant will be excluded if he didn’t bring any of the required mandatory material.
    3. 2 hours penalty for anyone who receives assistance from outside the race, such as food or drink.
    4. 1-hour penalty for anyone who throws trash on the race track.
    5. Exclusion for those who did not complete the distance between the stations according to the specified time, which will be determined for the contestants in the pre-race meeting.
    6. Exclude any participant receiving transport assistance by any means.
    7. Any participant who lost track & cannot return to contact us and stay in place until we reach him.
