“Overall good event - I was disappointed in the number of water stations, I think there should have been a water station at every mile or mile and a 1/2. Additionally, my friend ran the 5k and because he did not run with his timing chip the lady at the finish line would not give him his medal or towel and he had his bib number on.”

“Well organised but could do with earlier start - This is the second year that I have done the first 10K of the Abu Dhabi Striders series in October. Excellently organised and good start to the running season. However I believe that the 7am start is too late given the heat once the sun comes up. It was (or at least seemed) much hotter this year. If race started at 6.30 at the latest then at least the majority of it would be finished prior to sun coming up hence making it a better race overall.”

“Good, but can be better - Thanks for the ADCB ZSC 5k run. It was a good event. Enjoyed the atmosphere, the crowd, the giveaways and the professional setting. I'd like to offer areas for improvement: post rankings based on net and not gross times, stops people from pushing at the start. Also, Abu Dhabi offers such beautiful venues for a run, but sadly ZSC is not one of them. Why not try the Corniche, Al Bateen area, Al Maryah Island, etc. Also, a bit better signage of km marks would be helpful. But good overall, thanks!”

“Overall - very good - Only difficulty i had was getting to the car parking - as everything was coned and taped I was detoursed about 3k, round the course to get to the start area to park. After the run, again everything was taped off so as we couldnt actually leave [(the running route and the road were the same] which coused some difficulty as I needed to get to an Arbitration meeting being held in Dubai. Access and Exit - were the only real issues. ”

“Bin location - The garbage bins after the support stations are too close to the station. I would suggest to have one garbage bin every 50 m for 150 m in order to allow us to drink while running and have the time to drink before the garbage location is passed ...”
