“Timing Chip - My only real complaint about the race was my timing chip. Halfway through the race the zip tie provided with the chip came loose and fell off. I heard the chip fall off my shoe so I was able to pick it up but had to hold the chip in my hand for the rest of the race to not lose it. Then, since the chip was in my hand and not on my shoe, the time/chip did not register when I crossed the finish line. So, even though I completed the race, my online profile says DNF. Very disappointing.”

“Registration process not good - I had registered my girlfriend and myself for the 10km, and tried to pay with my UAE credit card three times online for it did not work, and had to pay with my UK cc. Then my girlfriend and I showed up for the race and she ended up getting a bib for the 5km when we had both registered for the 10km. My girlfriend did not want to make a fuss and did the 5km. She was clearly one of the fastest women in the 5km (top 5) and only had her result as a "DNF". Also she did not receive a finish medal.”

“Did not get yellow ADCB bag, no sms's received. - I love the T-shirt we got. I also like the medal and free photos. My friends and I, did not receive the yellow ADCB bag. Two entered the 5km race and I the 10km race. All our times were different but we ended within the first 100 places. By the time we got our lunch bags, we saw that other people were walking around with the yellow bags. We only got caps. Disappointing. I did not receive text messages before and afterwards like my friends. Add Gatorade to stations & packs, will be nice.”

“Overall I enjoyed the event and would do it again. - Plenty of parking is always a plus for a race! Not a fan of looped courses, but it is what it is. Everything was a breeze from signing up, packet pick up to race day instructions. My only glitch was over shooting the finish line which caused me a few minutes on the course. I know you can't make a volunteer be on point for the entire race, but if they could remain at key points, that would be great!”

“Great experience as always!!! - Very well organized, but a long lane to get the backpacks downloading the app. In addition I collected my number the day before the race but I didn't receive my bag with the extra things the day of the event. ”

“Great event - This is one of my favorite events & I came from Dubai to participate in it. I enjoyed the race but I wish the start for the juniors for 5K was together with the seniors like in the previous races. The start line should be organized as per timing as it gives more competition to the runners. ”

“Well arranged. - Since i participate all most all the runs the registration fee for each event is going beyond affordability. For regular runners you should give some discounted rate. For example if you register two runs the third run should be free or at a discounted rate.”

“Great event with nothing to complaint. - There is nothing negative to say. The only thing is that the course could be a little bit nicer, many curves and u-turns instead of a whole round around Zayed Sports City. But this time the course was better than before when we had to run a nerving curve across the parking before the finish line.”

He is obviously trying to be helpful but really just gets in the way. “Just three comments - Medals for the two category are the same and anyone who will see your medal will not know if you finished in the 5k category or 10k category. In addition, atleast maybe nextime there would be a designated area for bags or things where a participant can leave his/her things for those like me who only came by using a taxi and for the giveaways, not all participant specially finishers received it. The giveaways runout. Thats all the rest are two thumbs up for me. Thank you for the the organizers”

“Goo Chomps given in the race package were expired. - It was a great event but the Goo Chomps given in the race package were expired. It said "use by 23 December 2015". Unfortunately I only noticed it after I had already eaten some of it. I also don't like the fact that I have to let a photo app access my facebook account to be able to download the race photos.
