“Enjoyed - Overall well organized. A bit confusing start which already resulted in fragmentation of the group. There were some safety issues at sharp turns and with some groups of lapped riders. Perhaps clear pre-race instructions may help in future. Very enjoyable event.”

“A good race for all ability of riders - The raised road studs and gully covers caused some issues as people swerved to avoid them. The block paving crossings at traffic lights were very bumpy with potholes causing people to swerve again which added danger. The police and event organization were very good and it was a pleasure to ride despite a few unfortunate incidents.”

“Excellent event, well organised. - Great decision to delay the race. Gulf Multi Sports organised, yet again, a fantastic event. Massive thanks to the volunteer marshals and ADSC as well. The course/distance was well thought out and perfect for a crit race. I'm not sure what it is about people wanting a medal after an event. Could it be made optional and the cost reduced for those not wanting one!”

“Well organised. - Insufficient water availability - when I finished there was one place selling refreshments. Local water should be free and at several locations - particularly at the finish line when collecting medals. I have found retrieval of finish data frustrating - competitors want to compare age groups - this info not available. ”

“Ambulance /emergency service must be addressed. - We parked at Ikea and really had no idea where the start was. Signage would have been appreciated. Nice to get an unexpected medal, as it had said medals for winners only. Thank you. Regarding the course, loved the 'hill', but it was a very bad idea to have such a sharp, narrow corner, just before the finish, with so many people sprinting to get to the finish line, resulting in the horrific accident. Lastly, it took far, far too long for the ambulance to arrive to take Del to the hospital. ”

“Good decision to delay start due to the weather - The toilets near the tennis court were dirty and had no lights in them - I was unfortunate to have a crash and had to wait for the ambulance to arrive which took about 10 mins. The ambulance crew were only told about the event this morning by the police. The journey to the hospital took a long time as the roads were blocked for the ride and the driver did not know how to get around the road closures. Thankfully my accident was not life threatening but if it had been ...”

“First time experience - It was little bit risky because of some local cyclist who doesn't care about their own safety and others as well”

“Excellent event well organized great value - My only slight criticism was with the finish I believe many riders who were lapped on the last straight also stopped one lap short . It appeared that the group of approx 20 riders I was riding with for 8 laps substantially reduced to about 5 of us for the final lap. The group I was with felt the same . So did they get a reduced inaccurate time or possible disqualified due misunderstanding . Not sure what can be done about it but needs to be looked at. Great event which I enjoyed”
