“One of the best place to run - Great improvement from last year, which make this a great event, without any glitch! Thanks to all young marshals for their motivation and cheering! I think I felt in love with one of them ;o) Location is amazing and it is so awesome to run in some grass and greenery in UAE. But very hard race though: humidity, sand and small climb make it challenging. loved it! ”

“Interesting Race around the Golf Course - Nice scenery and varied course. Staggered start is nice but there can be a variable gap between packet collection and actual race start.”

“A tough course for regular road runners - It was a difficult course for me. I did not know that much of the running would be on grass and loose mud/sand. Since most of my training was done on road, asphalt and treadmill, the changeover to grass and that too for 26 km was a bit too drastic and has had a very adverse impact on my regular timings.”

“Nice, event for the whole family! - It didn't seem right that the 1st place finishers were receiving 3000AED in vouchers, while 2nd and 3rd place didn't receive anything in many cases (especially for kids - if a child is called to the podium, it is disappointing not to receive anything). Why not give 2000AED to the winner and 500AED to each 2nd and 3rd place? It also makes sense for the donor because it will bring the donor business from different people. Giving males vouchers and female bags of stuff didn't seem right either. ”

“Lack of respect for last time runners - After 2h, almost all the marshals left the place. The organization should always wait for the last runner and only close everything after. A lot of runners came after this time and almost everything was already packed. The last person to pass the finishing point deserve more respect than the first one to pass it. Next time please keep everything 100% for the last ones.”
