“Fun but suprisingly tough! - The full race didnt start unitl 8.30 - so for us slower ones, it was a late finish, with no-one really left at the end. T-shirt was a good fitted shape - but i think a medal would have been more appropriate for the full Kilomarathon, considering the distance. Enjoyed it though - thank you”

“Could be better - Fantastic buzz prior to start and great setting. However start time needs serious consideration and way too late. One water station close early for the full Kilo runners and I had to ask for water as they moved. Course is tough with the parts with very loose sand and race info pack during online entry did not disclose this”

“Nice but tough - Very well organized. A very big thank you for all the organizers and marshalling volunteers who stayed at their location for many hours but never forgot to cheer all runners. A finisher medal would be a nice event memory.”

“Good course - better with less humidity - Good, well managed event. Scheduling the run a week later than last year helped as it was less humid. Great variety by away a bag with 2 flyers and t-shirt bit of a waste of time. Saw a few timings which had 1st and 3rd laps exactly the same ... Correct timing?”

“Decent event, espc as a mental training run - The goody bag was non existent really, and the t-shirt size wasn't appropriate. I got a medium t-shirt, which was so skin tight it now has to be passed on. Nothing else included and no medal. ”

“Something different - I liked the novelty of running around a golf course and also the opportunity to run a 13k distance. Marshalls were encouraging and support stations well stocked. Suggest just giving out small waters as a lot of plastic is wasted, also open the gu sachets. It was frustrating we had to get there so early for the bib registration when the start was delayed, a lot of waiting. I went the wrong way at one point. Also would have liked more happening on the finish line, was a bit of an anti-climax.”

“Can be better - Signs: signs from parking to event are missing. No lockers provided, or give bags at end of race. No medals for all participants !!!!!! Course identification should be more visible Announcement was not very clear next to start Healthy event and alcoholic drinks are sold!!!!! Food was very expensive (at least should be discounted for participants) Sandwich preparation was very very slow ”

“Great place to run for a nice cause - Great event! the track on the Abu Dhabi International Golf is awesome and definitely not boring. The marshals all along the track very encouraging, with a special touch of fun for Halloween. To improve: no drop bag station. A long wait before the race. and really nothing after the race. You actually wonder if you are done... But all in all, great moment, and will do it again. ”

“Disappointed - No medals except for the first, no gift except a cotton tshirt. A gold race with good signage which was in sand, grass, ... it is the last i participated, because we can expect more after paying 160.”

“Well organised event and great couse. - A slightly different run to the norm. Great route meandering round the golf course under floodlight with varied terrain. Well stocked water / aid station. Enthusiastic support from marshals. Recommend this race to all.”

Really enjoyed this - This was a great race ! nicely organized, i did the 26k and the track was brutal !!! my only comments: 1-in some areas, the green small cones are hard to see 2-i nearly went the wrong way once where the loops come together - need a marshal at that spot. I was not the only one! Looking forward to next year ”

“Medals and bananas - There must be given medals to all participants Τhere must be given bananas (runners fruit) at the finishing line especially for the Half Kilo and the Kilo Marathons There must be an electronic watch at the finishing line The kids race must start at the end and with a different route of the adults The kids race must not be 2.5 Km but only 1.0 - 1.5”
