“Good event but too expensive for a 5k - Out and back course was a bit messy and points where the faster runners were running back on the slower runners. There was one step off kerb bit and it was very dark. This was dangerous. Also the mat at start of race was loose and people fell over. Overall 150 qr is really expensive for a race of such short distance. T shirts were huge in size so most people didn't pick them up. Medal was good as we're refreshments. Cost needs to be 75 qr next year and I will be back . ”

“A fabulous atmosphere - A great event: the Doha College student marshals/encouragers were amazing. Their enthusiasm made the event very special. The snacks at the end were very welcome and I loved being able to get a cup of hot tea beforehand as the conditions were quite cold and windy. I can't wait for next year's race! ”

“Great fun - I had a lot of fun running this race and have only a 2 minor comments: 1) I ran the track the first time and found it to dark. I almost fell 2 times because I didn't see some small ramps after about 1.5 km. 2) I am a little surprised about my timing. Gun and chip time are identical despite I crossed the start line after some seconds only. Anyway, very nice event, I am happy having participated.”

“Fun run but slightly off putting - Hi, this was my first ever 5k run. I thoroughly enjoyed it however I did feel a bit demotivated when I had to watch all the faster runners come back towards us on the same route - hard enough as a new runner without then having to concentrate on getting out of oncoming runners! Thought the whole event on the night was fun though.”

I can't explain to what extent the support stations were helpful, the guys and girls were amazing they kept cheering us and motivating us they were great . to sum it up i love it , was fun motivating and exiting experience ”
