“An Enjoyable Evening Out - For a first time event- very well done. I liked the course overall although I would have preferred less of the sandy areas, especially up/down-hill. Although others may like it if they have a chance- take the time- to prepare for it. Suggestion? A secure "post race/gear/kit bag" stowage and holding area....? I had to ask three different persons - and was finally referred to the Hotel front desk which graciously held onto my car keys for the evening. The shirt was unexpected and welcome as there was not one previously listed... Giveaways?! I received a brochure on the Westin and a CapriSun "juice".”

“Good course - The course is very good. I was able to run comfortably. A T-shirt is very too big. I register myself in large size. However, it was handed a T-shirt of the XXL size. The T-shirt of the XXL size is very too big for me. At the size that is not worn, I have it in being disappointed. All the water and the food after the race were charged a fee.I wish for their being charity. ”

“Acceptable Organization - Well i liked the track, it was tough and challenging! But the giveaways are so poor, the goody bag is cheap, i couldnt find the right tshirt size! No Medals , which is really disappointed , we crossed all the way from Dubai to Abu Dhabi to run this race! ”

“Another new running experience in Abu Dhabi - Alot of effort in organising a night race, the course was really well marshalled and there was great support at the drink station and the start / finish line. The course was a lot togher than I thought being more like a cross country than the regular road runs. A great run, thanks to all involved.”

“It can be so much beteer then it was - I was very disappointed to notice that in my goodie bag I had only 1 t-shirt (size xxl ), nothing else :-( also when I went to change it, the persons that organized the event refused. when I registered online I give my t-shirt size (M), well it seams that out of this race I got just a wonderful course. it is no value for money! except the part that is going for charity.”

“Tough different race! - Nice different race! The only BUT, that it wasn't organised with the chip and I did all the race, finishing 4th and was not even in the finishing list, shows as if I didn't race, pretty disappointing after such an effort. ”

“Great course. It offered a variety of terrain. - Well done to the organisers of the event. My only rant i have to say are the prizes. As I understand it was a charity event and prizes weren't even expected. However the difference between the men's and women's top 3 prizes were extrenly unfair. It appeared the women's event was devalued compared to the men's on every level. Extremely disappointing as it was so obvious. Women work just as hard as men when running and expect equal value in prizes. I would definitely run this again. Thanks for organising!”

“Fantastic - Fantastic race & loved the different surfaces we had to run on. One thing I can suggest is more dustbins at the water point as we were running over cups on the floor by the 4th lap. Also an announcer a the start/finish line perhaps commenting on the runners as they completed each lap - for example first team now on lap 3, first male coming through, first female coming through. Otherwise no one really knows who's in the lead & how many laps each runner still has to complete. Otherwise a fantastic event & I had a great time. ”

“It was a fun event..gr8 venue for the run... - The guys were in a bit hurry to wind up the bazaar and stalls and dint bother of the guest who are still seated. Staff talking loudly among themself with grumpy faces.service improvement required. staff handling alcohal counter were in their own world and behaved like amatuer for the event. ”

“Certificates- Need to have the name - The certificate of Completion given to the participants should have mentioned their names. It gives a sense of pride to the participant. A certificate without a name is meaningless...and anyone can just print one out or just pass someone else's certificate around as their own. In case of time being a constraint maybe the certificates could be personlaised and given out a day or two later.Thanks”
