“Great race despite high waves - Very well organized with great care for safety for juniors and adults. The tiny tri race was again awesome, my daughter (7) enjoyed it a lot and was proud with the medal. Announcing results could have been better by checking carefully the split times of swimming & running (1 or 2 laps run ?).Of course fair play is expected from all participants. A timing mat at the 1.25 km U-turn could have avoided the hassle as well. Anyway, big thanks for all the volunteers and organizers”

“Ok event few hiccups - Good effort by all the team that was hampered by confusion over the course and some problems with the results. Venue was great but not sure if the location is suitable for junior races as the beach is not sheltered and can be rough. Also in such rough conditions the juniors need additional safety support. Bit silly that the team prizes were only for one person and not both team members. Overall good event but could be better”

“Nice event enjoyed by the whole family - Online registration hiccups: I could not register without buying the chip. Wise decision in the interest of safety, to shorten the junior swim. Marshalling was not optimum. Conflicting pre-race briefing and marshals orders. My little one loved the Tiny Tri race, my older one enjoyed the junior race and I enjoyed the sprint race. A good day for the whole family, a proud father happy that his kids had the opportunity to taste how fun triathlon is. Thanks for organizing such an event.”

“Awesome Family Day Out - Overall, this was a great event and a lovely family day out with a great sense of community. a few notes; -tried to register my child for the tiny tri race but the premier online website insisted i buy a chip for an untimed event - this needs to be changed. However this got resolved by the awesome coordinator Daniel. -the marshalls were directing super sprint and sprint racers in different directions and made a right buggers muddle. the beach club was a brilliant venue and the staff hospitable”

“Terrible marshaling ruined a good race ... - So I am in the sea, with misted goggles in an upright position trying to work out where to swim to. I try to ask the kayakers where the buoys are. They shout, "kick." Not very helpful. But this wasn't what ruined our race (my 750m leg time was 15:57) so I wasn't too worried. Now, my runner sets off, gets to the 2.5k marker in just over 9 mins and is told THREE times by different marshals to head to the finish. Goes over the mat, then realizes, he has been misinformed. Disappointed.”

“I wish I could do the run part and finish - This was a great event but I had what I thought a cramp in my calf when we started running into the sea. Then pain never stopped, I completed swimming but could not even walk afterwards. It was either too much stress on the muscle or I got a kick by someone by mistake. It feels like a muscle tear that makes me limp at the time being. It maybe a good idea to give a warning about this potential at the race briefing. Also, was there a T-shirt to pick up, even though I was disqualified? Sami bib231”

“Great venue with a real ocean! - Preferred Saadiyat Beach Club over Emirates Palace. It was very well organised with a well set out and spacious transition zone, good course and a great area to have breakfast. Good call on slightly reducing the length of the juniors' swim with the rough ocean.”

“The friendly aquathon - Setting course and organisation were great. Overall, a most friendly and cheerful event. A few gremlins in the Sprint results, however, perhaps a result of confusion caused by running the sprint and super sprint simultaneously on the same course.”

“Another great tri club event - Great event again much better breakfast than last time. Good course, if a little rough (cannot blame organisers for that). But well organised and very enjoyable. Only comment Would be that the run course was a little cramped and confusing at times. The wter station could have been a bit further from the Chicane as their wasn't much space there. But overall it was as good as it could be with the roads on saadiyat. Great job. ”
