“The course is not great - Despite the short/unusual distance of 8 km (why not 10 km?) I signed-up to this event thinking that the course will be interesting/scenic, with some greenery. Unfortunately, it was very boring (running out of a car park on a road and back around to the car park, same loop twice). Otherwise, excellent organisation with many thanks to all the volunteers.”

“Course was flat and fast & sunrise was awesome - First timer with this event and definitely worth the drive from Muscat. Not sure where the previous course was but The Track had everything. Only thing I thought was missing was a safe place to leave personal belongings. Perhaps this could be introduced for next time? I look forward to competing again in another one of your events.”

“Great series - Have supported this series since its inception and will continue to do so. The tireless Warren and his team do a great job and the organisation, timing, atmosphere etc is all great. One minor gripe is that i wish we could pay less and 'opt out' of the medal and t-shirt as I never take either, but this is just a suggestion. “Well planned event - It may be advisable to start the race in May earlier, due to the earlier sunrise and heat. If this is possible.”

“Could be better - Very disappointed about the way the Tshirts were distributed, I usually wear a small size and after the race I was told that the smalls were finished. I participate in many events and treasure any Tshirt as it is an achievement it self to participate, but not having a proper size now is a bit annoying”

“A well organised event! - Race started on time, although some of us may have started before time because I think my official time was a good few seconds faster than my stopwatch. That's not a complaint by the way (I got a PB)! Nice to have photos and youtube videos of finish! Hats off to the organisers!”

“Nearly perfect - Just a couple of small notes: 1) it's hard to hear the announcer on his megaphone. maybe have more written signs posted up? 2) have more distance markers posted up. easier to time ourselves that way”
