“Qudra is a superb facility and track - thanks - Turn was tricky, but no other option on that course. Track was good, but in some places sand dunes took over 50% of the track and caused at least one accident. They need to be moved before big events. Starting groups were difficult as for example the 30-32 group had some very mixed capabilities in it, but as it had over 40 people was very difficult to overtake.”

One small complaint, although I had already purchased a chip from last years events, the online registration service did not allow me to delete the cost of this chip from the shopping trolley. However, to be honest, it was still worth the extra cost to do the time trial. We need more events like this”

“Great event, but safety an issue. - Once again, a well organised event, with the popularity of cycling demonstrated by the ever increasing numbers. The 'turn up and ride' scenario with personal chips is great, cutting out long registration queues early in the morning. However, 600 people on a two-way track, with common sense and courtesy lacking from a not inconsiderable number of riders made this quite a dangerous event. Dangerous overtaking, people slamming on brakes, and a LOT of near misses got the heart rate up more than the cycling. I saw two crashes, and know there were more. There's a 50km loop. It should be used to devise a course that isn't ALL two-way. The diets fe is arbitrary, so no need for this pain! It's a few km further, but how about using the new car park and facilities at the start / finish? Just a thought!”

“ Yet again, a superbly organised ride - Brilliant setup, no problems on the day, we all were free to ride without worrying about the start/turn and finish organisation being in place. And once again the CSD/ RevCycles/ CycleChallenge people did us proud. Excellent work, hope everyone is well-satisfied. Only slight glitch was the Spinneys FB announcing a 66 start the day before, when it was 6:30, but relatively minor.”

“Think i smashed my PB for that distance, chuffed! - The only moan I would have was that there were too many heros at the front slowing the pace down in groups, quicker rotation ( 1-2km max) would make for a smoother more even ride. great event, loved taking part.”

Just then a fast cyclist went straight on so a lot of cyclists thought the turn was 20m after the cones and confusion occurred.
