“Excellent ride - The water station was off the track area so we had to stop, walk to the table, open ice box, spilt a pack of water, get a bottle out and then back to the track...so lost time! :( In previous events there have been people handing out water at a convenient place so you could cycle on or pause, but off the track and self service to get water...uuum Not a spoiler as the event as always was great! look forward to the next build ups and easy water!!”

“Bike handling skills - Great morning ride and well organized - thanks. It would be useful if all were emailed on general bike handling tips that may well prevent accidents. eg. Do not ride on drops in the peleton. Keep hands close to brakes. Expect the unexpected! Eat and drink out of the peleton - its not a race and a dropped bottle will cause chaos! When the main group of cyclists came flying past the second time they covered nearly the whole track and do think they should keep to left side a little more as no room to move for slower cyclists despite the fact that they were cycling as close to the right side of the fence as they could get (only for safety). Whole event really well organised and great atmosphere. Would highly recommend future participation to friends.”

“Good group, all ervy friendly - The organisers need to alert beginners / new riders about staying to the right. Several slower riders got completely swallowed by the larger groups lapping them - often this caused panic and a lurch to the margins - when surrounded by a group it was dangerous at times. Otherwise superb event.”

Although in general it is ok, receiving earlier emails about refurbishment just completed, I was expecting a perfect surface. ;-)”

“Very well organised and supported - good start to - Only minor criticism would be to have a more regulated start. Even though the riders are told "that it's not a race" everyone still starts off like a bat out of hell so a regulated start with groupings separated by a short period may help.”
