“Good chance to promote sport. - 1.It was mentioned that slow-walkers should stay on right side and runners on left BUT it wasn't respected by many girls. 2.The event pack was provided too late for collection. I was waiting for any email or text but nothing was sent. I found out that packs are ready only because I called SL Club. The email should be send few days before the event. 3.Some girls were cheating. Those who started for 10K turned at the round about together with 5K runners!There must stand somebody to control it.”

“Start Time - The race was scheduled to begin at 6pm. It did not start until sometime after 7 pm. I didn't like waiting around. I drove from Al Ain to participate. ”

“I wish there were winners/prizes fr age categories - So hard to compete against 12-14 year olds! I wish there were recognition or prizes for age categories... The route was so dark at the beginning so many people fell over ;( quite dangerous Would have been good if you made it clear it doesn't start until 7ish and not 6! Arrived so early and was boredd”

“Fun event - Amazing event! but some people cheated since there were no volunteers watching over while the run so people would have easily crossed to the other end meaning they haven't actually completed the race.”

“Medal never change since 2015 to 2017 - I joint this event 3x already but the medal is same from the 1st I joint 2015 never change now is already 2017 still same…… and also a lot of my running mate from the 10K the medal is very cheap but the registration is very expensive. ”

Everything was fine and fair and 'no discrimination' specially. Baarak Allahu feekum. The suggestion i've got is you could have add the category in the certificate ( 5km/10km). I completed 10 km run and it is not mentioned in the certificate. Its very sad; coz finishing 10 kms is not an easy one. Otherwise everything was superb. May Allah bless u all... Aameen ”

“ Event good despite Sharjah organisation - The event had the normal problems associated with a local lead event but despite that it is always fun to run in and especially good to see all the young Arab girls having so much fun in an activity which would normally be difficult for them. Well done”

“Well organised - Well organised, recommend to take part as a group of friends or a team, as this is restricted to ladies. It would have been great if families were allowed to support/ encourage that was the only downside for me, no one to encourage/ cheer for the runners. Other than that the event was well organised. ”

“Overall good - I had never participated in this run before, though I had heard from my friends who had participated. Whatever heard before was definitely improved this year, thats what my experienced friends said. Water support was good. the course was not dark, thank god. I noticed that the participants were comparitively less than the the ladies at the zumba party. Anyways... The medal given is really very 'cheap'. The organizers should pay attention to this.”

“Fun witj friend's - Nice flat course. The race started 1.5 hours late than indicated. Support on course monitoring could have eliminated many participants from cutting back across at the first roundabout.”

“The event has greatly improved - Following this race yearly and I have witnessed a LOT of improvements this year. From the distribution of race package, pre race communication, signages, support stations, on site speakers, neon party set up and the freebies. Participants just have to do their part to equip themselves of the proper information. Suggestions: 1. Luggage drop off to avoid missing bags 2. Additional marshals to avoid cheating runners Overall, we (super) enjoyed and hope to run again next year. Well done!”

“Messy start, no supporters allowed in?! - Bumped into too many people at the beginning! They should have a seperate race for ladies who want to mess around and zigzag walk across the race track. Too many people cheating and not being reprimanded! Why were supporters not allowed this year? We had to sneak one supporter in as I was not going to drive all the way back to Dubai! Silly race, won't be joining again!!”

“Non pro runners - It should have mentioned the 10 and 5 k start as so many were confused. Non runners should not run with the runners as there was a lot of distraction throughout the run; a fun run should be organized earlier during the day so the event will look professional. Decent clothing would be appreciated. Please, if there's a next one, exclude kids and young girls from running between the pro runners . Thank you ”
