“Change of scenery & great organization & support - Very well supported by local municipality and the Oceanic hotel management. Beautiful bike course with undulating and smooth roads. Run is on pavement though, slightly harsh but with a well cushioned shoe it is easily manageable especially it's not too long. Great organization, communication and setup.Thank you ”

“Nice to race in a new location - The only problem had was at the round abouts a few marshals stood on the wrong side to direct. The cyclist orange direction signs were good except they needed to have them also directly on the round about as some marshals didn't point in the direction to go. The swim bouys were hard to see so in future if they could be the tall ones that would be great. I had to rely on the person in front as I couldn't see the buoys very well until you were close. Overall a good planned race.”

“An excellent weekend that was very enjoyable! - Beautiful setting in Khorfakkan. The event was very well organised and ran smoothly. The hotel was very accommodating and I had a very pleasant stay. The course was well signposted and the marshals were good in number and very helpful. As it was the first time for the hotel, it is understandable that there were teething issues, such as confusion between breakfast and prize giving after the race. It wasn't a huge problem and was sorted quite easily. I'm looking forward to taking part next year!”
